I went to this hotel for a business trip booked by my company. The ordered food was very very bad. Was kind of an attempt to do bad american food. The room had a bad uncomfortable chair which made it pretty hard to work. Would not recommend for a business trip. Service was good
A thank-you to the following staff who went above and beyond during my stay: Larissa (GM) Vitoria (Grand Club) Thomas (Grand Club) Jessica (Guest Phone line) Edimar (F&B) I stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend as a World of Hyatt Globalist on my first trip to Brazil and to Sao Paulo. At check in I was greeted by the GM (Larissa) who provided a very detailed overview of my benefits here + hotel features. She was very professional and welcoming. To my surprise, this hotel is very popular to locals for staycations during weekends, so all the suites were sold out. The hotel still had plenty of staff to accommodate each guest. Globalist benefits here include Grand Club Access, 2 free items for laundry/press. I received an upgrade to the King bed with club access + bridge view. The view of the Ponte Estaiada Suspension Bridge is beautiful during night from my hotel room. The cuisine here is great! Breakfast had plenty of choices at the buffet, which included create your own omelette as well as tapioca. I also ordered in-room dining - the sushi, steak and tuna options were phenomenal. I was also thankful for the F&B director to accommodate my 'very late' request of breakfast being delivered due to an early morning flight which meant I could not access the club/restaurant. All in all, I would visit here again if I had any future business/trip in the Sao Paulo area. Although the weather was not the best, I could not utilize the outdoor pools, however I did utilize the Sauna and indoor heated pools. Here's a pro-tip to the other Globalists/guests booked in a room with Grand Club Access: Order your breakfast at the Grand Club! You have a much better view of the SP Skyline + no wait/no crowds + same menu as the restaurant + the grand club staff are simply the BEST! Ask for the green juice, also ask the Grand Club staff for a Grand Hyatt Caipirinha. Vitoria from the Grand Club made this drink in front of me me and it was simply AMAZING!…
I was robbed in this hotel by the maid that entered my room on June 2nd 2022. I left my wallet in my room unattended for about 1.5 hrs and all my cash (USD$350-500) had disappeared. The staff was “faked polite” with the incident and as per today nothing has happened. We all know that Brazil is an unsafe country this days, but you don’t expect these kinds of incidents in a “Grant” Hyatt
Overall the hotel is well located with attentive staff. Unlike North Americans hotels, they are not using the Pandemic as an excuse to reduce services such as housekeeping and lounge. Hotel is showing signs of wear and tear but nothing too serious. Would definitely stay again. Concierge Lounge serves a very good breakfast and very nice evening snacks… location near Morumbi Shopping is great. Gym facilites are lacking new equipment.
Hotel’s nice but you need a car for everything Very disappointed with food at the main restaurant & room service, room was decent bed not very comfortable we expected more considering high rates service overall good staff very friendly housekeeper did an excellent job cleaning our room
I booked this hotel for myself and a couple of colleagues and we were not disappointed. Hotel was lovely and employees super helpful. Special should put to Julian for making us so welcome and victor on the front desk. Breakfast was lovely and rooms comfortable and well kitted out. We’ll be coming back again for sure. Max L
If you wanna be in a safe area Grand Hyatt gives you this feeling to the fullest! English in general is not the strength of the employees, which I cannot understand, as it is a 5-star hotel. The prices are quite ok, sometimes a bit overpriced, but for the rest, its perfect! The employees are very friendly and welcoming and try their very best! And thats what I appreciated the most. Thank you very much for taking care of us!
Excellent hotel for business travel. Very comfortable room, king bed, excellent bathroom. The breakfast is of a lot of quality and a lot of variety. Excellent gym. Quick attention and possibility of online checkout. Very good experience.
I’ve been with Hyatt Sao Paolo for 3 nights, April 10-13th for business trip. I forgot my Dyson hair styler in the room, my colleague called the next morning twice and didn’t receive any answer, we sent few emails, then called again. We were promised an answer until April 15th in the evening and we didn’t receive any. The guest name is Ana Maria Boie and room number 1609. It is unacceptable for Hyatt standards!
If and when we go back to São Paulo to visit friends and family, we will not stay anywhere else! We had grand suite with access to club room and that was worth the upgrade!!!! Great staff working up there.
