I stayed in this hotel for two weeks while attending a seminar at a nearby university. While the hotel is indeed dated, it was still a nice place. The location is great (right next to MASP on Paulista), the rooms are clean, the restaurant and...More
Decent sized suites, small Jacuzzi and good location right off Paulista avenue. Clean and all-round good service. Safe area. Breakfast is ok, although for some reason they are not keen on serving bread besides pastries.
I had to stay here while I was lecturing at summer school. The place was a bit of a dive. The first room they took us to had a *really* small bed, so we asked to be shifted on the spot to a twin room....More
Decent hotel with good location of Avenida Paulista. The room has a large living room, a good balcony, functional kitchen with microwave and tradicional oven, but small bathroom and beds. Tube TV with many channels options. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi and hair dryer.

Known for its Italian cantinas, Bela Vista is the place to go for great pasta. Also called “Bixiga”, the area is an important cultural part of the city, with the bohemian and the religious costumes of its inhabitants on full display. In August, the large Nossa Senhora Achiropita party fills the streets with a variety of Italian food and music. You can experience the liveliness of the neighbourhood walking
through the antiquities fair at Dom Orione Square or visiting the “Brazilian Caminito”, a version of the Argentinian street complete with colorful buildings. Bela Vista is also home to the traditional samba school “Vai-Vai”. Buy a ticket to a rehearsal and get a taste of what Carnival is like.
