Amazing place for a business trip Quality of service, food, amenities are really outstanding, strongly recommended, I did stay for a well and since the checkin moment, stay, cleanliness, support with concierge, access to club lounge, it was perfect
This hotel located in a area with lots of fun things to do. Hotel had Clean rooms. The breakfast had a variety of fruits. Options for vegetarians and non vegetarians. The staff are very kind and cordial. Specially at the restaurant. The staff are amazing and dedicated towards their job. They have a huge Gym with several fitness instructors. Overall an awesome experience…
Stayed for 10 nights on a business trip. All around excellent service. Renata, the Concierge is the best in the business. Breakfast staff are attentive, same with front desk staff. Secure location and security staff on site. Room was comfortable and had everything needed for the stay. Having the balcony was good to step outside in the early morning and late evening. Large and well equipped gym area. Breakfast is an array of everything you can want - fruit, breads, meats, sweets and the list goes on. Close to an array of restaurants, shops on Avenue Paulista, etc. Great stay.
Don't expect a stunning interior as it is a bit dated and worn out. The bed is great, as per usual in IHG properties. The hotel is in need of some TLC. We found our room to be clean. Breakfast is nothing special and a bit disappointing considering the rates. The big plus is the location.
The Intercontinental São Paulo looked quite imposing when we arrived with its fountain and distinctive sculptures at the entrance to hotel. We had a nice welcome and we were recognised as Spire Ambassador Members and given a rundown of the facilities available and advised that the Club Lounge was not available due to Covid-19 restrictions. We were upgraded from the Suite we has originally booked to a Paulista Suite. The suite was extremely spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable 3 day stay. One good feature was the large working desk which I found useful during the stay. The bathroom was absolutely fine with a powerful shower, bathtub and a good selection of toiletries. Breakfast was excellent with a varied selection of items and the staff members were very attentive. A mention must be given to Cedric the bartender who made us most welcome during our time at the hotel, he was extremely personable and engaged with everyone whenever they passed through the bar area, he is a huge credit to the hotel. We had a very enjoyable stay at Intercontinental São Paulo, it is a five minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Avenida Paulista yet is in a quiet location. Hopefully we will be able to stay again on a future visit to the city.…
I have visited São Paulo 60 or more times and have stayed at this hotel at least a third of the trips. It used to be among the best in the city, but over the pandemic, became very run down and poorly managed. I just stayed for three nights with a group of 17 that I had convinced to use the hotel. Many had rooms with stained, rippled or frayed carpeting, peeling wall paper, and chairs with collapsed, worn out cushioning. The property is in desperate need of renovation. Plus, for many there was intermittent or non-functioning internet, front desk phones were often not answered, and when I finally got a person to connect me to their external IT support, that person hung up on me without resolving the problem. I’m an IGH Platinum Elite and am warning anyone expecting typical Intercontinental comfort to avoid this hotel until these problems are resolved!!…
The hotel has the perfect location near Avenue Paulista, it’s very convenient. We had a nice room with a little balcony. Breakfast was really nice with a large variety of food. Staff was friendly and really arranging as they were able to provide us an early checkin as they knew we would arrived super early. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in São Paulo.
TTENTION: THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR PROPERTY! I’m an IHG Platinum travelling for business, let’s start with the positive points: -Great staff, friendly and attentive. -Perfect location in the center of the city -Nice Room size -Nice desk to work -Nice Bed and Mattress Negative (pictures included for your own comments): - They have not refurbished The property since 15 yr - Furniture are in bad shape - Floors carpets are terrible - Doors deteriorated - Bathroom old and high deteriorated - A/C vent never cleaned… - TV has never changed in the last 15 years - Pool (1970’s look) look like a dog pool as the water maximum height is 20cm!!!! And unfortunately is not a joke. First time in my life I found a bed lining in a 5 star with a big hole fixed, I appreciate the sustainability but not in this kind of hotel. Point: You cannot sell this product with Intercontinental brand! This is not a 5 star property! The property ownership is not injecting cash in the business to keep the high standards of Intercontinental requested and I’m very surprised that the HQ allowed this. This is the second worst Intercontinental I ever been, 1st in ranking Buenos Aires. I hope is the last one. Talked to Regina the Front Office Manager, a very nice lady that she noted all my comments. If you looking for a 5 stars property, this is not your choice.…
We stayed at 1-1-2022 at this hotel and they didn’t have any special program for new year ‘good location , every where was clean , and one night we order steak in lobby restaurant, and that was very delicious. If you want go to the sao paoulo I recommend this hotel for your stay it is a quiet place
My favourite hotels in Sao Paulo were busy so I chose Intercontinental to stay and first time in all my life hotel give you 0.3 bottle of water per day and if you want more they charge you money. LOL Please tell me the person who drink 0.3L per day? I asked for more and got bill for 0.2 cents water! No one 5* hotel charge EXTRA for WATER! WATER should be free! I haven't met this in all my life !Even in Africa hotels water is free! Would never back to this place, it's not about money just about how they respect you
