Was my first time in Sao Paulo. Great choice in the Vila Mariana neighbourhood. Warm welcome. Well run. Special Thank You to everyone at the front desk who kept an eye out for my delayed luggage delivery! I had a private room and it was clean and comfortable. Personally I found the smell of the cleaning supplies strong for my nose. Needed to keep windows open to vent it out. Breakfast was great. The ladies who cook it are friendly and cheerful! Pleasant courtyard to eat and relax in. Great bakery and small restaurants nearby. Short walk back to the metro station with easy access to the rest of the city. I had issues connecting with the Whatsapp number of their driver as I wanted to book airport pick up and transport. Ended up taking the new airport train and metro and it was fine.…
At first, we booked this hostel for a great reviews and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rate... & it had met our expectation so far! From accomodating and friendly reception to comfortable room (which its daily cleaning routines), to a hearty breakfast with such play area - which is very appreciatable for a family with a kid travelling because there is room for playing too. Plus, location wise - outside the hostel, you could check out some good restaurants, near hyper mercado and drugstores too. 👍🏻 We had a great 3 nights stay at this hostel! Thanks for the warm welcome 🙂❤️
I've stayed 3 nights in Brazilodge hostel and it was just great. The breakfast was delicious with papaya, honeydew melon, jam, cheese, scrambled eggs, sausages, bread, banana, fresh orange juice and coffee. Best breakfast I had during my stay in Brazil. Our room had a nice balcony, a shower, air conditioning, television and a bathroom. The rooms are extremely clean. Staff is super nice. You can find everything you need in the neighborhood and you're about 10 minutes walking distance to the metro station and around 25 minutes to Ibirapuera park. The neighborhood is quiet so if you want to be close to the nightlife, this is not the best spot, but there's everything you need close. You can use the kitchen at the hostel, there are 2 computers, a pool table and a nice patio inside. Unfortunately, one of the guests smoked on the patio, so it took out a little bit out of the charm. The hotel can arrange you a transfer to the airport which I definitely recommend! To wrap up, if you want to stay in Vila Mariana, I definitely recommend this place.…
Very clean room, nice staff and good breakfast! The Brazilodge is placed in safe and calm area. We were using Uber so i am not sure how close it is to public transportation. I can honestly recommend this place!
Only stayed here for one night on a stopover in SP. Nice hostel, clean and friendly staff. Breakfast included (basic as per Brazil). Located in the area Villa Mariana, which seems more residential but close to metro. Our only issue was our room backed onto main corridor and was very noisy with people. Also seemed to be some building works nearby which woke us early. Otherwise nice clean hostel which was fine for us for one night.
Stayed here for month to attend a course at a university not far away! great location, amazing facilities and staff that make your stay that much more accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I stayed in many of their rooms, all of which were clean, well kept and extremely comfortable. There is everything you need around you, local markets to bars and food stores. Loved how close it was and how friendly everyone was. A truly special place to stay, I have fond memories of my time at Brazilodge. Will definitely be back for more! Muito Obrigado!
We are having a great stay at this hostel. The room is very small but exactly enough. Every day fresh bedlinen and towels of you want. The bathroom is perfect with a big hot shower. Everything is clean. There is a good kitchen and enough place to hang out with your laptop or watch television. Maybe they can make the hallway to the rooms a bit more cozy. The location is also quite good. We saw a lot of nice bars and restaurants today very close to the hostel and is 15 minutes away (walking) from the Ibirapuera Park.
As a customer who stayed there for almost 15 days, i had never seen such a rude receptionist like the brunette girl ( not stephanie and chelsea). Actually, there are alot of stuff happened to my group but i will point out to the issues i witnessed. When we come to visit some of our friends who stayed there after us , she told us that we cant enter for a long time as we already left the hostel. Moreover, When we compained about other customers who left their food in the kitchen and didnt wash it, she did nothing. However, when someone complained about us, she told us that we have to wash or a 100 R will be charged on us. The hostel was not that bad , however there are some issues they have to handle. For example, the shower was not working well and no hot water and they didnt even bother therseleves to fix it. Anyways, the hostel was not bad but they definately have to fire this girl.…
This place is more like a hotel at hostel prices. Exceptionally clean, fresh rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a real treat - fresh fruit, cereals, breads, ham, cheese etc. Everything in the hostel is new, clean and very well kept. Out double room had a flat screen TV, fridge, and top of the range Samsung air conditioning - they even left chocolate truffles ok our bed on arrival! For the first time on my travels, I really felt comfortable and at home in this hostel.
Like most places in Brazil, you get amzing value for your breakfast and this place is no different. Its spacious and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, staff very helpful and the room is amazing. Not the cheapest place on earth but in a nice and safe neighbourhood. Next door is a Supermarket - albeit expensive. Its not too far from a Metro line but mind you, its not vey near so be prepared for Walking. I stayed here twice during my trip to Brazil.
