I have used this hotel since 2001. It has always been my "comfort zone" in São Paulo. The rooms have everything you need. And the personnel is very nice and professional. Simple but nice breakfast, free parking, great location. Would be perfect if the rooms had a modern "split" AC.

I stayed at the Transamerica Executive in Jardim during the 2014 FIFA world cup. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, answering all of my questions regarding the best restaurants, shopping, and places to watch the game. The location is probably the best in Sao Paulo. You can walk around at any time throughout the day and night without a problem.. just don't wander too far off the populated track. There are amazing restaurants within a 5minute walk from the hotel and the shopping is unlimited! If you want to go to the historical centre, it is much better to taxi than to walk.. ended up in quite a sketchy area. However, the walk to Vila Madalena was safe and a pretty awesome walk to see some of the local parts of Sao Paulo!

Been at the hotel during easter. The restaurant was closed due to the holiday which sounded a little bit weird. Also there was a renovation going on with the terrace so we haven't had the chance to enjoy a coffee outside. Having to wait for your room to be prepared after ages of flight over atlantic doesn't help at all. Not to mention the lost booking that caused a slight stress. But the staff is very helpful and kind, the price was reasonable, rooms are spacious and clean. The location is one of the pros. Beware: not at the center of, but reasonably close to paulista and oscar freire. You still have to walk quite a bit. The locals recommended me to take a taxi at night to oscar freire instead of walking. My stay was pleasant but I didn't feel like it was my home in sao paulo. I

The neighborhood is safe and there are tons of restaurants in the area. Take a 15-20 minute walk in any direction and you have even more. Staff speaks good English and the breakfast buffet was very well done. Wi-fi is free with code. Highly recommend.

This hotel is not fancy by any means, and actually needs some serious refurbishment. The rooms are decent sized, but bathrooms are VERY VERY small. However, the friendliness of the front office staff, their willingness to help and the extra effort they make to make you comfortable, is worth staying at the hotel. We stayed there for nearly two weeks for the world cup. and our stay would have been hell if it had not been for their help. First we did not speak the language, and then my husband fell sick. The staff helped us in every way possible, and one of them called Elder, even accompanied us to the hospital, and stayed with us, to make sure we did not face any language problems. The location of the hotel is also fantastic, right near the shopping areas. For anyone travelling to

Only stayed for one night, they let us cancel one night as our plans changed. Reception is a little small in my opinion. Pool area on roof is small but perfectly adequate with great views. Breakfast buffet was best I had in Brazil. The location feels very safe, plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Rooms are modern and large, bathrooms a little small tho.

Hotel is in a really good location, safe to walk around the surrounding area. Walking distance for getting something to eat. The metro is a 10 min walk up a hill, we found walking up Alameda Campinas better, paths are wider and less traffic. We had a few problems when we arrived, no iron in the room and air conditioning remote did not work. These were very quickly sorted. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel offers a free shuttle within 5km, we did use it once. There is always a taxi outside or just up the road if you dont fancy walking. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a kitchenette in the room but it does not have a kettle only a coffee maker which we improvised with, also a fridge with a mini bar, which is re-stocked everytime you use it The

This hotel is in a wonderful area of São Paulo, walking distance to wonderful lanchonettes and restaurants. The rooms were big, clean and airy but very basic...it felt like my college dorm room. Bathroom was quite small but not excessively so. No tub, just a shower. Front staff were excellent and spoke English. Taxis are right outside it's an easy walk to the bus

This hotel is clean comfortable and a good option for Sao Paulo. The location is central and close to main tourist parts of SP. The price we paid was reasonable for the accommodation provided and the service at the hotel was very good and majority of the staff spoke English. The areas i would suggest improvement would definitely be the WiFi which although is free requires you to log in every two hours and re enter a password this process was frustrating. The air-conditioning was also very dated and difficult to control but i guess did the job. Breakfasts were simple but nice enough and I had room service twice during my visit and was tasty enough. All in all I would recommend this hotel though.
