The hotel is quite ok - it is good value for money, the location is close to the centre (though not in the best neighbourhood), breakfast is ok, the rooms are ok.. Wifi was very slow, and sometimes not working.
My family and I stayed here. It is a great hotel. The service is excellent. The breakfat was amazing. The rooms were always extremely cleaned. The only thing was that at night, its not a good place to be out, it is a bit dangerous. We would go out in the morning and returned late at night and the taxi would drop us off in front of the door and we would go in. It is a very good place to stay and the price is also good.
It was tough going with accommodation in Brazil during the World Cup. It seemed that rooms would be frightfully expensive even if they were just better-than-average and that if rooms were cheap, the place would invariably be a dive. But then along came San Juan Business in São Paulo. HALLELUJAH! Those saints combined, Juan and Paulo, and it was heavenly indeed. Why? Friendly and helpful staff: Quick check in, check out and in taking and retrieving our bags on the day we left. They also gave us local information and a dinner recommendation on the night we arrived. Excellent breakfast buffet: All food groups were present with a lot of variety. Pleasant first floor area to eat in too. Comfortable rooms: Carpeted, quiet, good beds, plenty of space and the bathroom was nice too. And it was absolutely spotless. I slept extremely well. Quick WiFi: We didn't even have to ask. The log in details were given to us at Reception and it was the best WiFi in any of the (7) hotels I stayed in while travelling around Brazil. Perfect Location: You have shops and eateries a couple of doors away; the historic Praça da República is barely 50 metres from the hotel; and there you'll also find a metro station and a bus stop (where there are frequent buses that go directly to São Paulo's airports). Incredible value: For all this, the rooms are surprisingly inexpensive. Do yourself a favour and book a stay at San Juan Business. Even if you don't need to go to São Paulo.…
I have stayed twice in this hotel because he is not expensive, clean and near to the center. He is a nice option, nothing more than that. An honest room, honest breakfast. Have parking. He is in an unsafe street in the night, but near to bars and restaurants.
I have stayed at San Juan Hotel a couple of times in the past few years when I visited Sao Paulo. It offers a great convenient downtown location, just a few steps away from Republica metro station as well as the express bus to/from Sao Paulo International Airport. Hotel room is very clean, comfortable with modern amenities. And price is very reasonable in this expensive city. Breakfast always come with lots of choices and many delicious tropical fruits. Staff is friendly and seemed always tried their best to communicate, even with their limited English. With the new subway line, it's an easy one stop ride to the bustling Avenida Paulista for all the shopping, restaurants and people watching. It's also just a few steps away from Plaza Republica where you can visit the weekend crafts market with many vendors selling all kinds of handicrafts, gems etc. I will always come back to San Juan Hotel when visiting Sao Paulo.…
Great localization, close to metro station. Easily accessible by car, and next to direct bus line to international airport. Staff very polite and helpful. Rooms are clean and very comfy. Delicious and generous breakfast. Everytime we need to stay in Sao Paulo, no doubt about hotel.
The place is excellent. Very comfortable and clean. If you are planning to stay here, don't miss the breakfast! it's a real banquet!
