Myanmar standard , expensive for the room you get. Staff friendly , could check-in early morning. Basic , hot shower evening time, bed sheet were not really clean tough. But enough for one night stay , if you don't plan to stay inside all day long.

I was booked into the $35/night room on second floor, then asked for a room on highest floor not knowing the rooms are more expensive. the put me into a decent room but I did not know it entailed a price increase as I was not informed. Anyhow since I was staying for 4 nights I thought I might as...

Just spent one night. The room was large and had two flat panel Tv's but very few channels. Room pretty clean but rest of facility a bit dirty and worn. Got in at 2am from fire balloon festival and up at 5 from road noise. Water pressure mediocre and took forever to get hot water but it was there. Internet...

Our stay was short, as it was only a passing visit, but this place provides adequate accommodation for the location it's in. The area is quiet with some local eateries near by. The hotel itself is simple, like other hotels in Burma around this price range, but really sells it is the friendliness of the staff. Again, travelling with my...

In the busy intersection of the road, across is a very good coffee shop that sell pae-parathar. Basic beds and bathrooms...and no lifts but staff willingness to help surmounts the drawbacks. Stayed one night only. The breakfast is nothing to write home about but check out the coffee shop.

These pictures show Paradise Hotel on Inle Lake, not KBZ. These are totally different hotels and in different locations. KBZ is a basic standard hotel which will disappoint tourists looking for a bit of comfort. It has no facilities such as a bar, restaurant or outdoor space and is in the middle of a busy town.

We stayed two nights in this hotel December 2013. One night we had a rat running around the room and loudly chewing on things (including some of our belongings). It was so loud that I woke the front desk up and asked them to come over. They listened and said, yes that is a rat. Additionally it smelled like something...

We were visiting friends for the Balloon festival and stayed here for 5 nights. The rooms were large and sparse but clean and there was hot water, a/c and fridge. No kettle and we were 6 flights of stairs away from hot drinking water... The staff were very sweet and the position of the hotel was good- directly behind the...

We booked last min via agoda, and got a good price of ard S$120 per night. Only stayed one night which we regretted. Should have stayed another night as the hotel is great, for that kind of rate, considered one of the reasonable rated hotels on the lake. When I booked, it was among the cheapest and I was thinking...

This is a very nice hotel with cosy rooms, clean bathrooms and hot showers. Rooms all have mosquito nets and staff comes to spray mosquito spray every night. Our room 302 was the second in row from the lakeside, with direct view on the lobby and the water where you arrive. We liked this as there are also rooms that...
