Stayed in individual cabin right by the water's edge--in fact actually built partly over the water! Room was air-conditioned with two large beds with mosquito nets and a verandah overlooking the water. Rather heavy teak construction, but plenty of light from big windows and a pleasant enough room over all. A couple of minor niggles:- -Although there were tea and...

I have to say, when we first arrived in our room, I was not amused. At all. We were in one of the “superior” rooms at the back of the hotel grounds, away from the lake. It was normal hotel room size, but it was quite dark with no natural light, and it had been decorated with teak (or teak-like)...

Stayed for 2 nights in Inle Lake as part of an organised tour. The boat transfer was actually long skinny motorised canoes on chairs that are not fixed to the main hull so can easily tip over. The overwater rooms were nice but there were no mosquito nets over the bed as listed on the website so you had to...

This hotel has part of its on the lake and part of it is on land, which let us can arrive by boat or by bus. My room was not the smartest available, however it was so comfortable and right on the lake with splendid views. Lovely staff who never failed to help and always with a smile. The meals were good. I will criticise one thing and that is the chap in the evening who played 60s music on the guitar, it might be good...

The resort has a nice overview of Inle Lake from reception and dining hall. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Definitely stay in the Chalet on the lake. Room is spacious with nice local touches. Would love to vacation here longer.

This was the best hotel of the seven we stayed in during our Burma visit. We had a beautifully appointed room set over the water. The food was good and the service too. Lake Inle is both lovely and fascinating. We did some really interesting things and in and out of the boats for two days was good fun too....

Our visit here was part of a tour. We had a "superior room" booked. On arrival it was towards the back of the hotel resort, the end of a row of rooms. I was very upset and annoyed. I clearly had mis-interpreted the word "superior". We'd asked for a double and it was twin- bedded, and felt like it was...

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tour, so did not book it ourselves. Otherwise, I would have booked a lakeside cottage, as these appear to have been refurbed. Our chalet was clean, but shabby. It had old sheets and blankets on the two single beds (we had wanted a double). The bathroom was a large but...
