When we arrived, we didn't realise that there are 2 seng hout hotels next to each other and we had actually booked a room at the old hotel. It's a convenient location, walkable to the market, town etc. The facility is very basic but there is a fridge, ac, fans, hot water. The staff are strange, one of them at...

There are good points and not so good. Good- position, friendly staff, quiet. Not so- sheets that fit the bed would help, no hot water and the bathroom was pretty grubby. Maybe l was expecting too much for £20 a night, but a bit slack l would say.

The 'old' Seng Hout is starting to show its age but is still good value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful, their english is quite good. The rooms are getting a bit old but were clean. The bathroom was up to the usual Cambodian standard in this price range - tidy, functional and reasonably clean. Our front room was a...

I would recommend this place as a good central location that offers all a traveler needs. Very secure, clean modern AC rooms with fridge & not so common in Cambodia a jug so you can make tea. The pool is in the old hotel but it's next to the new.

Excellent location and with the pool is a bonus. Very friendly and helpful staff willing to go the extra mile. Hired a moped from there to go to the bat caves and all good. Would recommend the budget room at $10 a night with a good shower.

Seng Hout Hotel is located right next to the old market. Although our room had a balcony facing the market, it wasn't noisy. The staff are friendly and tried to accommodate our special requests regarding breakfast time. Room was clean and more modern than the other hotels of the same price category we stayed at in Cambodia. Reliable wifi. Breakfast...

Budget hotel, a little above a hostel, but not that much. Sheets were clean, but clearly well worn (some marks). Towels on our first day had a bit of a mildew-y odor, but were changed with housekeeping next day and were fine. Hot water did work, but it took about 10 minutes to heat up. Otherwise, room was as promised...

The hotel is very well-located in battambang. The staff is very helpfull, the rooms are confortable. There is a rooftop where you can have a drink, and a pool which is very nice to have in the summer.

I booked a cheap room via Agoda but the photos indicated that the hotel had additional services so I was hopeful, eg roof top cafe - but no, all day dining-coffee - but no, swimming pool - local youths using it all day so no. The room itself was actually okay and clean - but there are similar rooms elsewhere...
