We spent three nights in November , the hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming . The facilities were excellent particularly when you consider its location. The owners have put a great emphasis on being able to relax in a number of comfortable outside areas , making the hotel a great place to relax after experiencing both the heat...

My wife and I went for a trip to San Pedro de Atacama, we rented a car and pick it up at the airport in Calama, the scenery from the beginning was just stunning driving through the driest desert in the world. Our arrival at the hotel was welcomed with a drink and then a little rest in our room...

This is a stunning hotel with magnificent views but sadly it lets itself down on service. The pool area is lovely but not given any obvious attention - the pool is quite dirty & there are no staff around so it gets rather rowdy (not the relaxing space I'd hoped for). Room was lively but very dark - the lights...

I stayed at Hotel Altiplánico for one night and Hotel Cumbres for 7 nights. When I walked in I was pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel was a miniature version of Cumbres, but half the price! When I was at Cumbres, I could see that they had placed a lot of efforts (even to the minor details, e.g. music...

Before I talk about the hotel itself, I should point out that the worst thing about the hotel is the distance from the "main strip". It's at least a 20 minute walk and at night it feels very dangerous. There's hardly any street lights or cars, etc. We were never threaded at all, and the city it apparently very safe;...

This hotel is reasonably far away from the centre of town, reached by a dusty track which is a 15 minute walk unless you have your luggage with you. Then a taxi is needed. After dark then torches are a good idea. The rooms are OK, rather basic and in need of some repair, but OK despite that. The hotel...

A quirky hotel down a dusty road delivers an oasis in the arid location . Clean and different first impressions are soon lost by the tranquil and relaxing delivery this hotel offers . Staff are on hand to help and resolve any issues, give advice on trip, eating places etc. The age and style of this hotel adds to the feeling...

The room that we had certainly needed some upgrades, very tired and not particularly clean. The food was very good and the waitress Deborah was very good and friendly but some of the other staff were unwelcoming especially the reception. There seemed to be a lack of organisation. The location is good and a short walk to the town.Overal it has great...

Lovely hotel, quite spread out. It feels a lot like a resort. The mud huts are great - very traditional. Rooms were extremely clean and tidy. Wifi throughout the hotel was good. Pool area was very clean and relaxing. We were only bed and breakfast, continental breakfast was served each day and it was very enjoyable. Packed breakfasts were given...

This hotel feels more like a resort as it is spread out over a large area and the rooms are more like little villas. Staff are lovely, food is great, Wi-Fi is excellent and it is ideally located to see all of San Pedro de Atacama during the day. There is also a pool and a fire pit!
