Near to the centre and comfortable but characterless. Someone had been smoking in our room and the hot water pressure was very poor. By far the best bit about this hotel is the superb view over the Karst landscape from the front bedroom windows.

Stayed here on shoestring tour with Explore....Busy hotel set on a main road just a short walk to the centre. We were on the 7th floor however the lift only goes to the 6th. Not a problem really. In fact we took the stairs most times because the lift smelt strongly of, we thought, urine. Our room was small and...

Hotel clean, room size fine with AC. No cooling fridge or safe. Watch out for the lift doors - they close almost instantly! Good location for exploring a great town. Near an overhead crosswalk if you are not up to trying to cross the traffic in the street. We did not have the hotel breakfast but ate elsewhere locally.

Near night markets, lots of shops and restaurants. Rooms good size with AC and wifi that sometimes worked (try different signals as they vary). Bathroom adequate but towels could use an upgrade. TV had 2-3 English channels. Bed hard. Worth staying for location.

We stayed here for four nights as part of an Intrepid Tour. The hotel needs some serious money spent on it. The towels should have seen the rag bag at least a year ago. The showers did not really flow properly. The roof in the room needed painting, one side for mouldy. There was very little inroom facilities. Limited power...

This is our first hotel in China so I don't know what is typical. It is definitely not the standard I would expect in other countries but it's pretty much what I expected in China. If I found a hotel like this at home I would rate it much lower. When I rate it as average I mean average of...

Yangshuo is definitely the tourist spot in China, very busy. The hotel was situated in a great location not too far from the local market, supermarket across the road. Best breakfast we had all trip - the hotel was clean, comfortable and rooms spacious. The only downside was the poor water pressure of the shower other than that - Great

Stayed here with exodus on a tour. There worst hotel on our trip. Chosen for price and location. Breakfast not to western standards so taken elsewhere. Beds very hard. Couldn't recommend. Just outside is a food market quite smelly but interesting if you have the stomach for it. Across the road from park and coach stop. Wifi dropped in and...

Located by the mainstreet of Yangshuo, few minutes walk away to West Street (Xi Jie). Provided free wifi and a clean room. Lightings in the room are rather dim. Bed we slept are rather uncomfortable but it is average if you do not stay in the hotel for a long period of time. Breakfast would be dined outside in the...

Only stayed one night while on an organised tour. would have liked to stay longer as Yangshuo is a great place. Rooms were clean but a bit tired and dated which was to become the theme for this trip. Beds a bit hard, but did not bother us. location quite good and within easy walking distance of everything.
