Stayed here two nights at the end of a two week cycling tour. The room was very nice, with a great bed and nice bathroom/shower. Others have mentioned that the street outside is quite noisy, which it is, but compared to places on West Street I think it's probably much quieter. As with all Chinese hotels we encountered, Chinese guests...

Very clean. Good size rooms. Excellent reception. Get out and hire a guide with bicycles. Off through paddy fields and villages. Real step back in time. Catch a local buscto Fuli (sounds like Foo lee). Market is amazing and dentist / haircut / weird food options including dog ( yup...dog !!!)... Whatever you do just have a good look round...

The hotel has a lot of character and the staff are helpful. The rooms are clean and lovely and it is in a great location. The big downside to this hotel is the noise. We checked into a big Superior room on the corner of the building which was beautiful and seemed quite tranquil in the day. At night, there...

I definitely would recommend staying in the West Street area if you are going to be staying in town and Magnolia seems like a good option. Overall the hotel was pretty basic, but fine for what I needed. But it did had a couple small draw-backs. I was offered a free upgrade to a suite (top floor) but with no...

This is in a great location an absolute must see. The room that we had was the imperial suite which was 600 rmb and well worth the money. They send you to the china cafe for breakfast which is about. 2 min walk it was nice food and great service. Great place to stay, the only problem is it is...

Great location close to the river and the shopping market stalls and restaurants. We stayed in the imperial suite for 600 rmb and that was just amazing and beautifully appointed. Definitely worth paying a little more for.

This was the perfect place to stay in Yangshuo, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Pay the extra dollars and take the imperial suites. We booked three imperial suites and they were all clean and comfortable , stunning views over west street with amazing furniture and extra touches that made our stay worthwile. Magnolia is in the heart of the...

The hotel is not so big. Therefore, there is no possibility to have breakfast. The double room was okay, but opposite of a restaurant in which live music is performed until 11 pm. When you step out of the hotel, you are already in the centre and not far away from West Street.

If you want to stay right in the town of Yangshuo the Magnolia hotel is a good choice. It is very well located, the bed was comfortable and the room was not huge but there was some room around the bed. The bathroom and shower are relatively small but all was functional so we had no complaints. The room is...

This hotel was a perfect choice to really get the Yangshuo experience. It's located right by West Street (Xi jie or 西街), which is the pedestrian tourist shopping/bar/restaurant/market area. The facilities are some of the best available in the area with comfortable beds and decent bathrooms. Better than expected for a smaller Chinese city. Furthermore, the staff was friendly and...
