We stayed here for 5 nights and could not have been happier with our stay. The staff are super welcoming, couldn't be more helpful and really go out of their way to accommodate your requests and provide for your every need. The food is really cheap but high quality, rooms are clean and spacious, showers hot and there are great...

We had a great stay. The Giggling Tree is in a nice rural location and a great value. A nice courtyard for the kids to play and run around. All the staff a very friendly. We spend 3 great days on our rented bikes, which was very nice.

The Giggling tree is an outstanding hostel. We had a 3 bed dorm for 6 nights 85Y a night. Excellent value considering the service and the location. There is a fantastic outdoor area and pool (although we didn't use its because it was a bit cool!) and it's lovely to just sit on the patio and enjoy a cool drink...

In March I stayed at the Giggling Tree for a few days. I had a great time there. It is a nice place for discovering the Karst landscape and countryside of China. The helpful and friendly staff, helps you to arrange many activities like byking, hyking, kayaking and mountain climbing and many more. Also for relaxing it is the place...

Not as nice as the exquisite Tea Cozy down the road, yet brilliant if you are on a budget. This place is very child-friendly, and sociable. Everything is friendly about the place from staff, to food, to views, breakfast, and information about the local area. Only thing was I did not feel safe walking around at night around the hotel....

We spent one week at the Giggling Tree with our two young children (6&4). Room was spacious and beautiful, bed comfortable, airco up and running, breakfast fantastic, food great, staff super fiendly, very much to do in the area. In short: "the best week of our lives!!!!!" Can't wait to go back, they even have a pool now!!!

This is an excellent place to stay in a very beautiful part of China in a tranquil setting away from the lively environment of Yangshao. Staff go the extra mile to ensure you have a wonderful stay. There's excellent advice about cycling locally, cooking classes and other local options and individual travel needs are well catered for. Accommodation in private...

An excellent place to stay with a 2 years old active kid. Rooms were spotless and spacious, the staff very helpfull and the pancakes for breakfast something our son still talks about! Bikes for rent with comfi baby seat. At only 15 minutes taxi ride from Yangshuo, a calm and beautiful place I recommend to everybody!

After 3 weeks of traveling through China it was a treat to be able to relax a few days at this wonderful place in the beautiful countryside about 30 minutes from the busy city centre. The two rooms we had were both spacious, nicely decorated and spotless. Having breakfast while gazing over the beautiful coleseed fields and karstmountains was a...

Stopped in at Giggling Tree on a bike ride and was blown away by the grounds and uninterrupted view this gem of a place has. I'm paying 3x as much at Tea Cozy for similar accommodations and service (English friendly). Tea Cozy is very nice, but if you're looking to save, and seemingly not feel like it, Giggle all the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the tiny village Aishanmen, close to the scenic Yulong river only 5 km west from tourist hotspot Yangshuo, we renovated traditional yellow brick farmer houses into a beautiful inn. The courtyard is breathtaking. Our atmospheric restaurant and terrace with scenic views give travelers the chance to breathe fresh air again. In April 2013 we have opened our outdoor swimmingpool. Why stay in the city, when the countryside is so amazing! ... more   less
