While the location of the hotel near Leshan's main park is good; I awoke at 3 am to find an uninvited nocturnal roommate knawing through the bowels of the dark brown velour sofa in my guestroom! A call to the front desk went unanswered, which prompted my getting dressed and visiting a vacant lobby and waking up the sleeping night staff. After being denied moving into a new room due to a full-house, twenty minutes later a maintenance man and housekeeper finally came up and carried the mouse-infested sofa out to the guestroom corridor and simply dumped it adjacent to the fire exit -- which I then noticed had been padlocked shut (see photo)! Not only is the practice of locking emergency exits in this manner in contravention of local and international fire codes; if you do choose to stay here and there ever is a fire, it is very likely there will be a very low chance of escape. Needless to say, I did not sleep at all that night.

Filthy, dirty and low quality of materials. I asked for a non-smoking room but the Chinese smoke all over. Awful.
