This hotel is pleasant and nice with beautiful gardens and grounds. The old Soviet consulate was there and there is still a bust of Lenin. Hotel is quiet, air conditioning works well, wifi is decent. Staff does not speak English well, even at front desk. Breakfast is served in a different building, which might cause problems if it is raining,...

I stayed here on early July, 2013. I really love the hotel's environment. I heard that it was a former Russian consulate or something but that let me experienced very good. As this was recommended in a guidebook: particularly charming in autumn, we gave it first choice. The rooms reflect the character of the former Soviet consulate, Soviet basics, with the shower a whole in the ceiling and one in the floor.
