This is an awesome place to stay while you're in Dali. The host Ling speaks English nearly perfectly and completely goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and helps you with any request you might have. Without us asking her for it, on departure she even offered to call the following hostel for us to arrange our...

Phoned the hotel and the lady host, Ling answered. She sent her staff to pick me up from West Gate right...

We were able to get a family room here, which was not available everywhere. The room was very clean, which exceeded our expectations. The hotel is a short 10-15 minute walk from anything we wanted in Old Town Dali. They have a pancake breakfast, egg and hash brown breakfast, or a Chinese noodle breakfast available which was convenient when we...

Conveniently located near the West Gate entrance of the Old City, or you can also enter just in front of the hotel , across the road thru the local market. Interesting place to wander around and take good pictures. The rooms are very spacious and clean . Good breakfast and service. The owner/manager Ling is absolutely great . Very friendly,...

Great service and product (lovely room with good amenities, proximity to Dali Old Town and Three Pagodas, tasty breakfast) make this a wonderful choice for experiencing Dali's charms. All staff members are congenial, helpful, and kind, answering questions and assisting in activities. Added bonus is the cutest dog -- Dali!! Highly recommend.

This hotel was a short 10 minute walk from the old city of Dali. Very clean and comfortable. No air conditioner but it was not required for our stay in early June 2013. The free transfer from the Dali train station on arrival was appreciated. There is a 40RMB transfer available on departure. A convenient alternative to get to the...

This medium size hotel is situated just 5 minutes easy walk from the Old City. The owner, Lin, speaks fluent English as do some of her staff. Lin is full of useful information about things to do, and can arrange a driver for the day. All of this is at very modest cost. As part of her service she also...

Your host Ling runs a little gem here, right outside of the west gate of Dali old town, up the hill in a quiet little street. She speaks fluent English, is extremely helpful and was lovely with the kids (our 4 year old daughter was still waving goodbye to Ling when our plane left off from Chengdu a week later)....

Ling can be very proud of her delightful hotel. She speaks English quite well and is very helpful regarding any questions and requests. The hotel has an excellent layout which provides a relaxing atmosphere while one is not aware of the activity around the hotel. The rooms are very spacious and well furnished. The hotel is close to the lively...
