This hotel had the basics to become a very good hotel as it was very well located and it occupies quite a big area. It is only about 10 mins walk to the Ancient Town area. The hotel offers one of the best views of the Snow Dragon Mountain from the upper floors (since Lijiang is quite a low-rise city... More

We travelled as a private tour group, stayed in the hotel for three nights in its garden villa. The hotel is just off a city street but once you step inside it is another world. The landscaping is very good with gardens, bridges and flowing streams here and there. The view is especially nice with the snow capped mountain in... More

After reading some of the reviews on Trip Advisor, I admit I was a bit skeptical about staying here for 3 nights. However, we liked the hotel. We had a large room with a huge bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower. Don't think our room had been used for a while but that was easy to remedy....we simply aired... More

I stayed here for 2 nights while travelling alone as part of a group tour package. The exterior, the gardens & the grounds of the hotel is very well-maintained, beautiful and great for taking walks. I like that there is a common living area which allowed the occupants (from the same tour group) on separate floors to interact. The butler... More

Our tour group of 11 stayed in 5 rooms in one villa (House 9188). As my wife and me has requested for joint bed and so got the master bed room, with a living area of our own, though there is another common living area at the ground level. It is not near to the Lijiang old town where it... More

This hotel has a very interesting set up as mentioned by previous reviewers. I have stayed in many hotels but this is surely a unique one. Our tour group stayed here for two nights and I must say it was the best hotel on this trip. We were assigned to the room with a balcony on the 2nd floor. True,... More

From the exterior, the estates look quite interesting. We were first arrived at the lobby area and then we were transported over to our villa via a golf cart. Each villa has about 4 rooms and comes with a Guan Jia (housekeepr). Our guan jia is a young Naxi lady. She was very attentive and well-mannered. We flew in pretty... More

A beautiful villa-style hotel with a few rooms in individual villas. The villa we stayed in had an interior courtyard and was situated along a quiet street along with other similar villas. The entire resort was located in a beautifal area with many views of the mountains nearby. Getting to the rooms was a bit confusing at first because we... More

We stayed two nights in this delightful hotel on March 23 and 24 during our group tour of Yunnan. The mini-bus (more like a buggy on the golf course) took us from the reception to our room in super quick time. Our room was on the 3rd floor which had two rooms. There were two other rooms on the 2nd... More

Our group of 9 friends spent 2 enjoyable nights in a 5 room villa as part of a 9 day whirlwind tour of Yunnan. It gave our group the opportunity to congregate instead of turning into our respectives every night. The entire estate appears to be quite new. Our villa, 9188 was large and comfortable. The sofas and arm chairs... More

“If you have mobility issue, ask for a room on the 2nd floor instead of ending up on the 3rd floor. The housekeeper will help with luggage either way.”

“There are two rooms on each floor. We were auto assigned one since we flew in late. But I read that the other room has a balcony. It is probably better to stay on the lower floor. I was short of breath climbing up those stairs from the higher elevation.”
