Good location near the town centre, reserved parking outside. The room was huge with two double beds to choose from. Staff couldn't be nicer and breakfast was good. Osijek was a nice stopover on a long drive.

I got married in Osijek and all my family came from LatinAmerica and stayed here. They were SUPER helpfull and nice, always with a smile. Rooms are great, A/C excellent and a very tasty and complete breakfast. They helped us with every doubt we had and allowed us to be all the time in the terrace gathering with my husbands family. 100% recommended

Must have friends in the ministry of tourism, or local authorities. Maximum 2**! Room stinks from tobacco, curtains are nearly see trough, main door (room 8) has frosted glass, just big enough so you wake up at 4am. Hair dryer is nearly blocked with dust and dandruff, on the air intake side. Surprised it still work's. Bar refrigerator sounds like front loading washing machine on unbalanced spin cycle. Could not close bathroom door, lock or unlock main door, and when I did couldn't take key out. ... Duty "manager" said you should have switched the refrigerator off. Bit of the sun in the morning should not bother you. But we went to bed @ 1.30am. - after somehow managed to squeeze our car into "reserved" parking on the street. Also overcharged on advertised price. Didn't mind paying extra, (it may have been a penalty for checking out next morning) instead of four days after. Definitely would NOT recommend.

I booked a 1 person apartment for a two-day business trip with colleagues of mine. Owners of the place welcomed us with a coffee and a huge smile, just what we needed after a long train ride. Check in was really quick and welcoming. The room is located at the upper floor just under the roof, and it is super cozy. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is modern and well equipped, including a hair dryer. Whole building is well maintained and super clean. Vienna apartments are few minutes walk from the main square and the train station. Free parking is available. In front of the building there is a nice cafe with a terrace. There are many shops round the corner, as are several awesome restaurants serving local and international food. Despite central location, it was wonderfully calm during day and night. Owners are very friendly people. My stay was phenomenal, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to fellow travelers!

Staff at Vienna Apartments were very friendly and accommodating. My room was small, which was fine with me, and it was very comfortable and clean. A delicious breakfast was prepared for me each morning. The location is perfect; just a 5 minute walk from the train and bus stations and less than 10 minutes from the town centre and the river. Would highly recommend.

THE PROS: 1. CLEANLINESS The family ( especially the woman called Judita ) is really thorough in their cleaning. Beds have crisp, nice cotton sheets. Floors are swept and bathrooms are in clean, great shape. The rooms are cleaned everyday when you leave to go about your day. 2. ROOM SIZE The room that we had ( family style room on the upper floor ) was HUGE and fit 3 people. It had a skylight window and it was very comfortable with the three large beds. The rooms are simple, clean and airy in design. The simplicity highlights its cleanliness and it doesn't look cluttered or small at all. 3. FAMILY HOSPITALITY The wife ( Judita ), her husband and her twenty-something-year-old son are lovely people. They are shy but extremely helpful and generous. They gave us fresh plums from their garden as presents. They managed to get three bicycles for us to take around and explore Osijek. They invited us to have coffee or tea with them on the patio in the evenings. They always had a warm smile to greet us and offered so much to help us to make Osijek a wonderful, memorable, fun place :) I think this is the biggest advantage to this place. ON THE CUSP / MIDDLE OF THE ROAD : 1. THE LOCATION It is close to the main bus and train station but around 15 - 20 mins walk into the city centre. It is around 20 - 30 mins by walk to the Tvrda ( the old tower where the main town square is, surrounded by bars and restaurants ). If you are an avid walker, this will be no problem. The walk is interesting enough towards the city centre as you can see some of the historical European, Venetian style buildings that are abandoned along the way. Some of these buildings have been abandoned since the war in the 1990s as Osijek and the neighbouring town of Vukovar were hit badly by bombs during that war of independence. THE CONS Nothing at all. I think it's worth the price you are paying for and deserves a great star rating :)

Fantastic place to stay. Good location, convenient for everything. Friendly & helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast complete with amazing coffee. Very good value for money. The rooms were comfortable and clean and all were spacious. Parking is available in front of the building. There are two options for coffee or drinks right outside the entrance to the Apartments.
