We started for one night to go to the lakes. We found this really easy after arriving via bus at entrance 2. On arrival in the hotel reception offered us a cheaper basement room that was available straight away (rather than waiting 2 hrs for our proper room). This was quite dark but it was a 3 person room so...

I thought it would be fun staying in a former socialist era hotel. It wasn't. Plus points: the location allows early visits of the park, and parking is free. The included breakfast is adequate if basic. We also had a wifi router in our room (a recent feature?) and the beds were surprisingly comfy. Negative points: the room was tiny,...

Stayed here for two nights while visiting the Plitivice Lakes and although the rooms are basic and the decor is old, the hotel is ideal being right in the park and perfect for exploring. Breakfast was very substantial with hot and cold dishes, ceral, fresh fruit just about everything. Staff could be more friendly but they were efficient and helpful...

Yes - I agree its a basic hotel, but we stayed here for 1 night and it was the perfect location to explore Plitvice lakes. Its very easy to find - very close to Entrance 2 of the Lakes. Check-in/check out were straightforward and the staff very friendly. The room was small but adequate for needs. One advantage is that...

The hotel is in the center, very close to the entrance of the national park. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is various and good. One "negative" thing, wifi is only in the lobby. We were there two days and we were totally pleased. It was awesome :)

On first walking into our room I thought yuk! It was tiny and the grout around the shower tiles was black. I don't know if every room was the same but our bathroom was not a pretty sight. Basic rooms indeed. Maintenance is not a high priority. The bed however was comfortable. The common area and outlook onto the garden...

This is an old soviet-era resort that has been maintained to an adequate level. Back in the day, staying here must have been quite an event. Now it's dated but still decent. The rooms are a little small, but adequate. Everything is clean and tidy, good sheets, bathrooms are well cleaned, etc. As others have mentioned, the location is simply...

Stayed overnight in July. I chose this because it was close to the lakes and meant I could leave my car in the hotel car park whilst exploring the lakes. Rooms are reminiscent of a holiday camp, very basic but clean. Single room was very small but adequate. Breakfast was simple and Ok There are several options for evening dining...

So this was an okay hotel. I would attribute it more to staying in a hostel with private rooms if I am honest. It was in an amazing location for the National Park though so it's worth a stay. However, the wifi doesn't stretch to all the rooms, my room in particular made a loud honking noise when ever someone...

Never had high hopes for this hotel based on the reviews, but seeing as there's a very limited choice around Plitvice we plumped for it as a base to rest our weary feet after a day's walk around the gorgeous lakes. Although we weren't impressed by the hotel's outdated decor (pink toilet and sink) and scuffed walls, the beds were...
