A warm welcome, a beautiful traditionally furnished bedroom and a loggia to sit out under. A surprisingly quiet location (helped by really good quality double glazed windows) within walking distance of the town.
Breakfast was fabulous and plentiful, and served with great care by Amelia,...More
We stayed there for one night in 3 rooms, located on 3rd floor. Though there s no elevator, the hosts were night to help us with big heavy luggage. Home made Breakfast served in the nice and private kitchen on the same floor.

This small hotel is on the island of Ciovo next to medieval town of Trogir and has a wonderful view of the old buildings across the water. The rooms are beautiful, the owner is very friendly and helpful, and we can highly recommend staying there.More

I'm sorry, I mis-read your question. I thought you were asking about a hotel in Split, Villa Split Luxury Rooms. I don't know where the bus station in Trogir is. But, if you go to Split, I highly recommend Villa Split Luxury Rooms. But, you will not be disappointed with Villa Moretti. Emelia, the owner, is super nice and helpful. And the rooms are wonderful. It is a family owned B&B, and the building has been in the family for a very, very long time. It is beautifully decorated, and has many antique furnishings. In addition, you might consider taking a boat from Trogir to Split. We had a very good experience with Bura Lines. We had planned a day long hike on Civo Island, and planned to take a boat from Trogir to Slatine. The water was very rough that day, and the boat service was canceled. But, one of the workers offered to drive us to Slatine. When we got to Slatine, he decided to drive us up a very steep road to the trail head. We were very thankful for his kindness. We hope you enjoy your trip as much as we did. Give our greetings to Emelia and her family for us!

Use Google Maps to find the bus station that is near the Old City Center, or Diocletian Palace. I tried to include the link, but Trip Advisor doesn't allow that. The walk to the bus station would be no more than 5 to 10 minutes from within the palace. The roads are paved, and the side walks are either cement or marble slabs. In 2015, we used the bus to travel from Split to Dubrovnik. It took about 6 to 7 hours. It was a very comfortable and scenic ride.
As for a good place to eat, my wife and I enjoy pizza and pasta and found this place to be very good and reasonably priced, PIZZERIA GALIJA Ltd. Again, use Google Maps to find it. It is usually crowded, which is a good sign, so go early. Also, ask about the Gelato place right around the corner. Mostly locals go there, which is another good sign of good gelato and reasonable prices.
