I loved it here and highly recommend it. Getting to know the owner of the hostal better was what made this trip so great. She was so kind and helpful planning our time in Otavalo and Peguche. To be right next to nature, now that's really something else. We were right next to a

"Wifi is best by the receptionist office. You're in such a nice place, get off your phone when you can. It's the perfect opportunity!"
"Ask what the options are and let them show you the room."
"We had a room on the lower level under the reception area which was quiet. The view from our hammock afforded us the opportunity to see the local people coming and going against the backdrop of the mountains."
"The rooms are good but cold at night. Ask for extra blanket and ewear your silk longjohns like I did! This place is for a little adventurer in you!"
"Rooms that do not open onto the (disused) railway tracks can be quieter especially during the San Juan fiesta when the railway becomes a path for dancing groups returning from celbrations."
