I thought air conditioning was a standard in warm climes at a certain price range. In fact, during my 2-1/2 month trip of the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand this was the only hotel that did not offer it regularly to guests. It is true that I did not read the room description carefully. I had to pay $30...

The bungalows are nice and cosy, some are sea facing. Sofia, at the reception, was extremely good. Besides the usual recommendations, she would give cost saving tips. Internet is charged and valid for the day (not 24 hrs basis or login based, just same day until 8 or 9 pm). Has a nice restaurant and great poisson cru. 5 minutes...

This hotel stays in front of the sea and there is a nice coral just in front it. All the staff is very friendly and helpful, they helped me with phone calls, tours reservations and talks about which places to visit in the island. The rooms are nice and have enough space. They rent bycicles while other hotels have bycicles...

Nice view, nice gardens, nice walks, town walk distance...but you have to go around the island by car and take the tours available in front desk to really enjoy the whole island and the amazing activities offered. Is not a hotel to spend all day inside it.

We were greeted by the lovely Sofia and from that moment was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere, friendly staff, great food and very good value. I highly recommend this restaurant. They offer a free shuttle pick up and drop off to your hotel.

We had the wonderful experience the last week of January, 2016 staying at the Kaveka hotel on Moorea, French Polynesia. The entire facility is one of the most friendly places that a person could possibly call home for a week. Greg, the owner, and his staff make life very comfortable and the entire facility is a delight to be a...

I visited Moorea recently and my husband and I stayed at this Hotel. The prices were very good. I was told that Tahiti was expensive and the local items for sale are indeed just that, but this Hotel was a little diamond among a gem of an island. The cost was equal to a standard motel room where I come...

it is simple, also has a restaurant , very close to cruise port but if you come this far, maybe the best is to enjoy a nice hotel, with nice ater front, clear and bungalows so you might think about it in this part of the island the bay is not clear water

Moorea is a wonderful place to visit and Hotel Kaveka is located in one of the most beautiful spots on the island, but, sadly, the property is run down and unwelcoming. As other commentators have noted, there are large cockroaches in the bungalows (I had one in my bathroom). There are no extras included with your stay here; you can...
