Personally i have a connection with One Afrika, so i highly recommended it to my partner and she agreed for us to go there. The food i must say is expensive and tasteless, the room was infested with ants and flies, the shower was poor. The waiter didn't return my 1 cedi change the first night from drinks we bought...

One Africa is a lovely oceanfront resort owned and operated by a beautiful and welcoming woman, Seestah Imahkus. Sitting at a table or lying in a hammock, One Africa is quiet, calm and relaxing. The sound of the ocean waves crashing against the rocks, the feel of the warm ocean breeze on your skin, the smell of fresh sea air...

We stopped by for a meal and to soak up the ambiance. Really wished we had time to sample the chalets. Food was lovely. I was impressed that they went to pick a coconut so that I could have my Malibu with fresh coconut water.

My favorite place to go whenever I am in Ghana - Elmina... Not only because of the beautiful see-view but nice service, good and cold beer and excellent home-made fried nuts! The rooms are made in "local" way, very nice and comfortable. The benefit is, the number of rooms is limited - I think just 9 or so - means...

Me and a group of students were studying abroad this summer in Africa, an one of our hotel stops was at One Africa. I won't be too harsh about this place because the intentions of One Africa is good, but it just didn't translate well. so I will start with the good; the landscape was beautiful! One Africa has breathtaking...

I had a wonderful time at One Africa. I felt like I was family coming home and it was great to be stay at a hotel owned by persons who understood the draw of a place like Elmina and created a space for that. The rooms were airy and well decorated. The area by the water was so relaxing and...

This was a stop-over during our group's 11 days in Ghana. I wouldn't hesitate to come and stay here for my entire visit. Gracious host, great food, beautiful location, close to activities and reasonably priced. A great combination!

I love this place. I have been here several times over the years. I highly recommend it. Sidenote: If you are looking for Hilton this aint it. However if your looking for peacefullness, immersion into the culture, traditional accommodations this is it. The food is delicious. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks is so soothing to me....
