Absolutely wonderful! But we were there in April of 2016.... it wouldn't give me that option. We went as snorkelers and came back as certified divers!! We had NO IDEA this was a dive resort. But they definitely cater to divers. Food was excellent...did not...More
Amazing diving, fantastic staff and kids program. Our two young kids went to Dolphin Camp while our 15 yr old went diving with us. Melanie and Whitney did a great job with the girls and our 12 year old finished the week with her PADI...More
We had a great week in Roatan, the resort is very nice; although one might think it is full of tourists, it is well spread.
The resort has several islands, bungalows are both on the hillside and on the island where the pool is. A...More
Over priced for what you get. I did the Dolphin Encounter and you walk waist deep and they tell you about the dolphins. Then they allow you to touch them and take pictures with them. It's only about 30 minutes of actual water time.
We were at the resort from june 17-24. The resort is clean, well run, and food is the best I have had at an all inclusive. The pricing for drinks and snacks was fair and available. The staff and dive crew were great and a...More

There were warning signs in the airport about several bugs active on the island when I was there in March. So as far as flu and other such things it wasn't resort specific. And some people just get GO issues with changes to a routine diet. This happens to me even when I travel in the states. Like someone else said, take Imodium at the very first sign of GI issues.
And even though I typically avoid raw fruits, veggies, and water when I travel to the tropics, I did eat bananas while there. I did end up needing Imodium on the 3rd day there, but my issues were dealt with using minimum doses and caused no interruption of my diving schedule.

Yes, there is a little beach on a separate island with free boat shuttle. An additional beach is on the island with rooms. It is quite fun as the dining room and some bedrooms are on the main island, there is a separate small island with more lodging (highly recommended) small beach, kayaks and swimming pool and a 3rd island with a beach and dolphin center. A boat shuttle goes between all 3.

The snack shop had mostly chips as I recollect. I can't remember what all they have- I only bought water and juice. I think if they had nuts they were salted. I can't remember about the fruit-if they sold that. Bring your own nuts and healthy snack bars. Pick up extra fruit at the breakfast fruit bar.
The bungalows over the water were on the key and yes that is were the pool was. Bring bug repellent.
