This homestay made of Munnar a memorable experience. Benoy, the manager of the homestay, was very nice and helpful. Every evening we were staying up talking to Benoy and asking questions about the culture and people and he was very happy to teach us everything. He is really passionate in what he does and in fact he was offering free... More

WE stayed here after our previous Homestay Mum arranged. We had the top balcony room. Good size with well fitted out bathroom. Had the usual array of redundant switches and we bought a jasmine garland because it smelled a bit funny but otherwise comfortable. Is good location for Munnar. Bring loo paper

When we came, there was some odd old man, a bit drunk :) The rooms vere not good, it was rainy season and the rooms we saw vere mauldy and damp and there were some ants. It was very cold there and no hot water, no wifi. I do not recommend until they renovate it.

Lovely quiet, clean and chilled out simple place to stay. Great to stop by especially if budgeting! The host runs free yoga and meditation which is pretty amazing and full of warm vibes and friendly people.

Very quiet and peaceful place with only a few rooms in Munnar town. Very very kind staff. Every day yoga classes in the morning and meditation at afternoon for free. The rooms are well, with hot water. Breakfast not included but lots of tea available kindly by the manager during all the day. Possibility of booking a tour around the... More

I visited Munnar with my wife for three days, in order to experience the breathtaking beauty of the place. We were on a tight budget and were looking for a cheap lodging. I had talked to the owner of this place, Benoit on phone and had come to know that I will get a good room with balcony view in... More

Apart from the steep climbing to reach the place (remember to insist with your tempo driver to bring you up there, specially if you have luggage) and the rather "basic" type of accommodation, it is certainly one of the best balanced price/quality choice in Munnar. Close enough to the city center, but far enough from the noise. As most accommodations... More

Kaippalil Inn is situated on the hills of Old Munnar. We went to stay there for the first time 4 years ago. As happy customers of the place, we keep on visiting every year and stay up to 2 months, if not too cold and rainy. George Benoit, the manager, a yoga master, is an adorable and absolutely helpful personality,... More

We had an extended stay in this homestay during Christmas time in December 2014. As everything was fully booked and prices were higher than usual (we heard this), we were so happy and satisfied to come to Kaippallil. We got the cheapest and quite small room but sheets, hot water and simply everything was good. We didn´t join meditation sessions... More
