Dream catcher plantation  Resort is a nature haven. We were here to celebrate our second wedding anniversary, and the place was beyond my expectations. It is situated on a steep hill slope, the property is built and maintained beautifully. The food is cooked freshly, on demand, The rooms and the bathrooms are super clean, actually the whole property is so.  but the rooms are comfortable and cozy.  the manager at the resort was helpful in…

Dreamcatcher was truly an ESCAPE. It was simple, on a hill,  well fitted rooms. The view was marvelous, the weather was super . Immaculate rooms and grounds , uncrowded and tranquil surroundings. We stayed one night in Tree House and one night in a cottage which was newly constructed. The disappointing thing is their pool was closed due to corona. They take all preventive measures like temp check, sanitizing etc for the corona protocol.
As expected service was exceptional in all areas from guest relations, room service, reception, housekeeping, restaurants to the gardening and security staff. All staff are friendly, responsive, courteous and helpful and more often than not take pride in providing service beyond expectations.Special thanks to the Management for good hospitality and great customer service. The Food options and taste was amazing. Rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly.

Very beautiful property in the midst of tea gardens and cardamom plantations. We were here for 2 nights and we got to see stunning sunsets every night from the property. Getting here is a little tricky though - I think you’d need a local who knows the area to drive you there.

We got the tree house package and it came with breakfast and dinner - great food! The tree house was beautifully placed. The only complaint we had was - for the money we paid the room was very small and not sure why we got 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (we booked the honeymoon package 😂).

We also did a spa session and enjoyed it very much.

Overall we liked it! Would definitely go back (but will definitely check about the room first).

Location is amazing
Horse riding activity is worth considering
Swimming pool location n view is too good
Tea plantation scenery is perfect for capturing pics
View from top tower in the evening is so stunning that u cant forget in ur life
Alacarte is good

Cons
Buffet is total waste. They have restaurent in 4th floor n kitchen on ground floor. So in the transfer of food it becomes cold.
Room service is slow
They are understaff so sometimes no one comes to ask anything in restaurent and near swimming pool
Wifi connectivity is worst.Only u get wifi near the reception.Dont expect in the room or tree house.

Stayed a couple of days renting the honeymoon cottage in this resort. "Terrible" is the one word I should tell about the experience.

The biggest positive about this resort is the view, which was absolutely amazing. But the thing is, Munnar is such a place, where the view is amazing wherever you look. Other than that, everything else was the worst possible for such a high cost.

1. The roads leading up to the resort are very poorly maintained and are in-fact dangerous. This isn't a mistake from the resort side, but then good to keep in mind.

2. During check-in, a wrong room was allocated to me by mistake which ruined one of my evenings. The room allocated to me was not even cleaned properly and had spider webs. This was later corrected that night, but only after my complaints. These guys don't understand that time is precious. This was a honeymoon trip for me and one ruined evening is absolutely terrible. This was an easily avoidable mistake.

3. The experience during the candlelight dinner was terrible. We had to eat half of one of our dinner in darkness. You can allocate a separate room for candlelight dinner and use the rest for normal dinner.

4. There was no lift. I know that the logistics of that place make it difficult for the resort to include a lift. But it makes the experience terrible. Each time, you've to climb 4 floors to enter the restaurant or leave the resort.

5. TV was not working. I know you've heard this feedback from most guests. And the mistake may not even be from the resort's side. But when you charge this much, the guests don't care. TV should be working and if it goes off when we watch a program, it feels terrible.

6. Worst of all, the food wasn't tagged with veg and non-veg tag. I'm a vegetarian and because of this, I ate chicken sausages. Putting a tag is the simplest way of showing some respect to the guests. It's the least of the expectation for a resort of this reputation.

Overall, if it was one or two mistakes, it's tolerable. But, with all of these, I'm forced to say that it was a disappointing stay for what I've paid and I won't be recommending this resort to anyone.

We stayed here in room 306 for two nights as part of a tour around the area. We were absolutely blown away by the majestic views and setting amongst the tea plantations. Our bedroom opened onto the imposing mountains and the restaurant looked across at acres of tea plants. It’s hard to put into words how beautiful it was.

The hotel experience was also great. Staff were so friendly and so eager to help us with all of our requests. The restaurant staff in particular sported perpetual smiles and the lobby staff solved all of our issues.

In the room, the beds were really comfy and the bathroom was top draw. Thank you all!

With a lot of resorts in and around Munnar, it was definitely a difficult choice to choose a good resort for a stay which is not only neat and clean but also family friendly and safe. That is when we got a recommendation through a friend regarding Dream Catcher. So we just booked it, we just opted for regular rooms, but there are tree huts and cottages available. Very well sized and clean rooms with hot water available and room service if you are feeling lazy to go to their restaurant to eat. Food was really good too. The resort is within a 20+ acre tea plantation. so even if you do not go outside you can enjoy within the premises. It is family friendly and safe place, with a lot of picturesque places around, the view was absolutely breath taking. Not to mention the infinity edge pool which was a bit cold but once the body warmed up it was such a blissful experience. Breakfast was buffet based with Intercontinental style or even normal Indian breakfast menu as well. You wouldn't want to go anywhere else once you stay here, just get lazy and enjoy what the place has to offer especially with the right climate. Next time would love to choose the Tree House to stay.

We wont ever suggest this resort to anyone.. as the 1st floor balcony room was terrible without even proper bathroom doors. we never opt for this resort for anyone. also they are not properly maintaining rooms and property. They will collect the whole amount once we checkin and if any problems comein they talk useless. please dont choose this resort as we have multiple super other options available in munnar. also i strongly trust that these guys gave money to others to add good reviews in google.
