This is a stunningly beautiful hotel. It is quite rustic and has a real old world charm to it. The staff are exceptionally friendly and there is a great atmosphere throughout the hotel. The rooms have everything you need and there are all sorts of charming nooks and crannies around the hotel to hide away with a book (or your... More

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of a small tour group, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were delightful each having a name not a number and being completely different in decor, we spend half an hour exploring and admiring everyone else's rooms. I would recommend this Oasis of calm in the middle of... More

We has such a lovely two night stay here while visiting the Golden Temple. The hotel has such a good atmosphere, and the rooms are delightful. The welcome was so friendly and in the morning, the breakfast was delicious and all very healthy. We would certainly stay here on our next visit. Excellent.

Lovely building and well maintained . The staff were helpful too but need training. Toiletries were never replenished and hence had to always ask for more. There is absolutely no buzz about the place. You ask for the bill to be made up for the next day as your leaving but you can be sure they will only do it... More

If you want to have a feel of stay in a large Haveli, try this one. Situated in the residential altitude, it offers huge space, good food and even better service. The owner himself takes care of the service levels, hence you will get good ambiance and value for money. Slightly over-priced, but then good for weekend stay.

Such a surprise retreat space in otherwise crazed Amitsar, welcome & farewell ("return") gifts also a delight. Ayurvedic oil massage on wooden table a new experience. Huge sumptuous rooms with great character, ditto the entire space.

Down what looks like a residential street is this delightful boutique hotel. Genuinely lovely rooms that are roomy and airy. All decorated comfortably and kept very clean. Patios, sofas and chairs dot the outside and inside areas. Genuinely lovely colonial home with local family additions like photos and books. Food was good with a mix of Indian and western. The... Friendly staff. Good food and overall excellent service. Rooms have a nostalgic feel of a time gone by, with antique furniture sprinkled among modern comforts. The location is also ideal, near a main street. Our driver, Tansen, was helpful and we felt quite safe with him guiding us.

We loved this charming hotel. The rooms are nice, the service is great, the breakfast is good. My toddler had a broken toy and the folks at the front desk fixed it! However, we would not recommend the add-ons: * The tonga ride to the golden temple was unpleasant, taking us through heavy traffic with lots of pollution and also... More
