First of all, one need not go to Bassi at all as there is nothing there. We happen to go just because it was close to Chittorgargh and the place had nice reviews, hoping to pass night there. There is nothing essentially wrong with the place except that it is a two star property who have put up pictures that...

So at the very begginig the impression was: those review on TA were too severe. After less than 24hr and the bill, they were actually true. The bill: -They wanted the double price of the room (a deal was made prior with the owner, and thankfully we've got a wrotten confirmation), prices of the meals where not told to us...

Checked in here and was greeted with hospitality and care, given all of the comforts of home and shown every courtesy. The new manager is young and works very hard to please, nothing is overlooked. The rooms, bonfire in the evenings, dinner thali, all are top notch. Any postings you may see from before March 2016 should be discounted, entirely...

This place belongs to the family of the local chieftain of Sisodiya clan. The owner served in the Indian Army. They are trying to renovate their ancestral property and earn at the same time. Small wonders then that professional hospitality was yet to pick up - and possibly not to be expected much from landed gentry. At the time we...

Firstly when we arrived we had to hunt down staff to book us in, then when we were shown our rooms, they appear dark and are musty and shabby. My bed had a funny lean on it so I uncovered the pillows to see what was going on and the pillow slips were dirty with someone's blood on it. I...

My wife and I, with another couple with whom we were travelling, were booked in to the hotel for one night as part of our India Heritage & Culture tour. On arrival, our driver had to go looking for someone so we could book in. When this was finally achieved and we were shown to our rooms, the one allocated...

We booked this place expecting it to be of some standing since it is part of a reputed chain. alas, that was not to be: 1. there are hardly any direction boards to guide us to the place 2. it needs repairs badly - the bathroom door stopper in Royal Suite was broken. i dont know the plight of cheaper...

I went here for lunch while on my way to Kota from Chittorh. First of all I'm really confused why a huge brand like ITC not keep it's property like it's name deserves. This Welcomheritage property needs severe upgrades and a huge clean up. The property is like in ruins. Also what I noticed, the staff not wearing uniforms. But...

The rooms have a really good aesthetic appeal - with old, royal style furniture and overall ambience. Location is quiet, slightly away from main Chittorgarh, near the hills, which makes it cooler as compared to the city. They gave us a warm welcome with garlands, and being a cold season, they had tomato soup to offer as a welcome drink....

We would have given this place 1 star but as they moved us to a better room it just makes 2 star. The rooms are old and a bit creepy. Old pictures everywhere and just a depressing place to stay. One night is more than enough! The service is pathetic, they have no idea about hospitality. Tv would not work,...
