What can I say the pictures speak for themselves. Coconut House was amazing. To wake up, have coffee on the deck, watching the sun rise, what a way to start the day !! The west side of the island reminded me of Phuket, Too many people, too crowded. Whereas old town was what I thought Thailand was like years ago....

After spending 5 months in Lychee House, we have nothing but wonderful memories. Waking up to the sun rising as we relaxed in our hammocks on the deck over the ocean every morning was an experience that will be hard to ever top. A truly authentic Thai experience watching the locals go about their days in Old Town; fishermen coming...

The gentle sound of the waves lapping underneath this beautiful pole house will be my lasting memory. We stayed for a week with friends in this beautiful wooden pole house very close to Lanta Old town. We stayed in Lychee house which has a wonderfull deck area which sits on poles over the sea. Lanta old town is a 5/10...

We enjoyed a one-week stay in Lychee House in lovely Old Lanta Town which was a great way to start our time in Thailand. The house is lovely with a wonderful deck on poles where you can look out on the sea and is very relaxing. Lanta Old town is a 5/10 minute walk away with some nice restaurants. Access...

Was a bit of a mission to get to old town from where we were on koh phra tong, but definitely worth it. It's a real Thai town with all sorts of local stuff going on, very few tourists around which is great. We stayed in the coconut house which is very impressive and larger than it seems from the...

A one-week stay in Lychee House in lovely Old Lanta Town with its quiet street of shops and restaurants (all the meals we had were good and reasonably priced) was just what we needed after arriving in Thailand. We slept well as the waves lapped beneath our pole house. Sunrise with a cup of tea or coffee, accompanied by the...

My time in Old Town, Koh Lanta was a blissful experience, which included the sound of waves lapping, the clean smells of the ocean, the sight of a clear sunrise, the taste of fabulous Thai food, and the touch of a cooling breeze. I had everything I needed: a comfortable bed, clean water, a beautiful house and access to most...

I loved my trip to Koh Lanta and the pictures will show why. I live in Phuket, which is nice, but it is nice to get away, this is about a 5-6 hour bus trip with two ferries. We stayed at Lychee pole house through Lanta Pole Houses, right on the beach, with the waves crashing under the house, I...

I've spent a wonderful month at Coconut House on top of the Andoman Sea in Old Town Ko Lanta. The wooden pole house is spectacular. Built above the Andoman Sea, when the tide is in you can hear the waves lapping beneath you. There's a spacious, glorious deck, perfect for reading or staring across Old Town harbor to the islets...

It is great to stay in the old town, and experience the authentic Thai life, rather than the tourist infested places you often get stuck in. With a handful of shops and restaurants it has everything you need, and next door you can hire a scooter for 200 baht to explore the island. The house itself is extremely comfortable. The...
