A great little breakfast place with an awesome vibe. The baked goods are great and their bread for toast is excellent! Our service was a little slow, but the restaurant was quite busy and they seemed a little overloaded. That didn't prevent them from being hospitable and friendly.

Came on a Wednesday morning at 9am. Quick service to start with the menus and water being brought out. However, from ordering at 9.05, we did not get our food (pancakes and poached egg on toast) until an hour later. Also, the food was not served together which meant I had almost finished mine before my partner got her food....

Myself and my fiancée had bacon and eggs and toast , quality bread and great eggs . We didn't want avocado but I think that was lost in translation and came as part of the dish ... breakfast was still tasty but we wanted more .... we shared the banana and Nutella pancakes and they were so so good. Definitely...

Lovely owners, really funny, amazing coffee and food in their restaurant. Rooms are very nice and very affordable! Great location, and only 100 meters from the beach. Would definitely come back again!

The stilted bungalows are placed in a luscious garden and are all relatively spacious and clean and with the necessities you can expect if you're not needing aircon or a tv. Though placed close to the main road the noise was not annoying and listening to animal sounds only brings authenticity to the experience. The balconies are also quite spacious...

If your a light sleeper like me do not consider booking these cottages. They are very poorly insulated. You get woken up throughout the night due to loud exhausts from the nereby road. After that ends arounds 4 pm the roosters start at 4:30 followed by the local Imam at the mosque at 05:00 till 07:00. Never for me or...

We had a lovely stay- Bamon the owner was incredibly helpful and hospitable. We sorted cheap mopeds when we arrived and there was no time pressure to do anything. The bungalow was really sweet with a great balcony. Yes it's fan so got warm but nothing that bothered us too much- just pointed it at our faces while we slept!...

It's such a pity I can't recommend this lodge, because the British-Thai family who runs it is super nice and friendly, the bungalows are well built, clean and nice and they have a nice coffee shop and a gorgeous yoga room just a little away from the lodge. BUT: they have NO security system whatsoever. No safe in the rooms,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Fruit Tree Lodge & Coffee Shop started off 7 years ago as a small collection of Thai style bungalows located in a local village called Pra-Ae on the beautiful island of Koh Lanta, South West Thailand. Recently we have the developed the property to include a brand new, modern, air conditioned coffee shop on site, offering breakfast, brunch, snacks and drinks. The bungalows are up on stilts and have a balcony overlooking the garden. Fruit Tree Lodge & Coffee Shop is located in the village and therefore close walking distance to restaurants and other local amenities, and it is approximately 5 minute walk to the stunning Long Beach, one of Koh Lanta's most popular beaches. Each bungalow has a double bed, hot water shower, fridge, fan and free wifi. The rooms are cleaned 6 days a week, and linen and towels changed on a regular basis. The bungalows are stylish, comfortable and are excellent value for money. Fruit Tree Coffee Shop is open between 07:30 and 17:00. Another addition to our property is Lanta Yoga, located approximately 200m away from Fruit Tree Lodge and Coffee Shop. We have designed and developed a brand new yoga sala at a private setting up amongst the trees and close to nature. The yoga sala was specifically designed to create a peaceful atmosphere perfect for practicing yoga. Vinyasa Flow yoga classes are available for all levels. Everyone welcome. ... more   less
