Stayed here for a couple of nights and the bungalows are right on the beach. Great for sunsets but that's about it. Nothing else to highlight. The area is pretty boring and the bungalows are pretty basic.
Arrival here was a little odd - nobody on the front desk, but soon a lady came running up the road, so guess somebody was keeping an eye out! The property is quite rustic, rough concrete edges getting from the road to the beach front...More

Phi Phi is just a party island. Unless you stay on one of the far sides of the island (which can be reached via long tail boat easily), you will hear thumping music all night. It's also quite expensive by Thai standards. There isn't anything authentic about phi phi, whereas Lanta is far more quiet and local while still having easy access to things tourists need. We had the beaches of Lanta practically to ourselves when we were there in July.
