The hotel is clean, and the staff is really friendly. I stayed in a fan room (the room with just one fan is incredible hot, even more than outside temperature), so I asked if I could change to an a/c room, but the hotel was fully booked, so they provided an extra fan for my room, making everything better, proving... Amonrada: A Hotel of Horrors Amonrada is a nightmare hotel. You could not pay me to stay here again. Do tiny coffin-like rooms, raw sewage, giant spiders, mini-ants, blood on your linens, and fake maid service sound nice? Let's review: 1) The rooms are concrete and very very small, not much bigger than the beds inside them. There are no... More

We started by renting 2 night but i think we ended up staying like 10 night.. Its a nice place, the staff is friendly and helped us to where we should rent a bike (which is Olis in town btw, dont rent anywhere else not worth it). The room was simple, quite small but just enough for us. Perhaps a... More

Up in front, there is a laundry service directly on the other side in a new (hotel) building. Our laundry was really smelly afterwards and we needed to get it done a second time. By the way, washing in the hotel is not allowed for saving water. Staying at the hotel, using the facilities like shower / TOILETS or wifi... More

Me and a friend stayed in a double private room for 3 nights in November. The place is in a good location, Sairee is tiny so everywhere is a good location! I was happily surprised with the room, the photos online made it look tragic but it was perfectly fine. Afew things need updating, desperately. Like the caterpillar light for... More

We stayed in a double fan room because the dorms were full. I felt 600baht was overpriced considering no aircon, as AC rooms in Bangkok are 500. The room also got VERY hot during the day, as it faced the sun. The fan did very little to help this so I had many cold showers. The staff are neither friendly... More

Friendly staff, in particular one English speaking dude. You can also book boat trips or your travel tickets through them when you move on. Room was very decent for the price with good shower, TV and wifi and cleaned everyday (they make the bed and change towels). Was woken up each morning at 8am by building work across the way... More

We booked in advance to stay in a standard fan room for one week. However, on the second night we noticed a few bed bugs on the bed, then noticed blood on ourselves and on the sheets. We looked on the mattress and found many more bedbugs and old, dried blood which shows that the bedbugs has been an ongoing... More

Stayed here for 5 nights. Good clean double room with air conditioning and a fan. Staff are a bit grumpy but that didn't matter. Very good value for money! Only a 2 minute walk to the beach, far enough away from bars that you can't hear them but close enough that you feel safe walking back alone. Samantha cafe opposite... More

One of cheaper options on the island but definitely good value for money. The room was clean and had a very good shower in comparison to some of the other places we have stayed for similar price. The staff our friendly enough and I felt like all my belongings we safe. The location is good, close to everything you would... More

“I would recommend going for a fan room rather than pay extra for an air conditioned one (i stayed in Both). The rooms are not too hot anyway and because they are relatively small the fan cools the room down quite well.”

“DON'T STAY HERE! Quite literally countless other places in the Sairee Beach area that are worlds better. And the same price, and hopefully the staff won't swipe your cash...after living and traveling in Thailand previously, this is the first experience I've had where I've actually outright had something stolen from me. Shameful!”
