Stayed here during the full moon party and can't complain for the price. I feel like the photos and reviews online properly prepare you... It's definitely not the nicest, cleanest place, but it's cheap if you're just partying and need a bed to sleep in. Stayed in a room on the second floor, I would definitely suggest booking that instead of the cottages! Yes, there are padlocks on the door when you leave, but there is still a inside lock for when you're in the room. Seriously, people will complain about anything even if it costs a mere $20 a night. Pool area was clean, lots of people to hang out with if you're feeling social, music always going. Owners were really nice people as well!
The room we stayed in was filthy. The floor was disgusting, don’t think it’s ever been mopped. The bed had loads of grit in, not sure that had been changed before our arrival and it made for very uncomfortable sleeping. Bugs all over the fridge and very dusty. The door gets locked from the outside with a padlock meaning you cannot lock it whilst you are asleep at night. There are also loads of holes in the door. Bad value for money. Pay a little extra and stay somewhere cleaner
i didnt see any bugs or nasty dirth in my room which was good and big even though was the cheapest one the pool chairs must be replace as they are all broken and old in total was good enough for me to chill and relax right on the beach
We stayed in this resort for 2 nights as group of 6 for Full moon party this Dec'18. The hotel is located very near to the main attraction at Haad Rin beach by few minutes walk. Food quality is good but the rooms (in the center building) are little smelly, toilet and floors are not clean. Pool side sea view is great. You can also reach Haad Rin pier (for Haad Rin Queen ferry) in few steps from the back side of the resort. 7 Eleven and family mart are located very near so that we can buy things easily with out going far distance. Cottage rooms built around the main building are very nice than the regular rooms in center building. The staffs are very friendly and co-operative. Much recommended if you don't consider that little smelly rooms are not a big issue other wise a great place for stay and enjoy full moon party. It is also recommended to book rooms as much as earlier (at 1 month) or else you can't rooms in this area.…
Lady at front desk was very helpful and friendly. Nice pool. With the beach within throwing a rock to it. Great location-20 min walk to full moon party beach. The rooms? Well... hot shower, ac, toilet and bed. Not the cleanest. But I have sensitive skin and if sheets or towels are any bit dirty I get itchy. I got no itch. Bed sheets aren’t ascetically pleasing.but seemed to be clean. It’s just a place to crash.
I hate to leave negative reviews, but this ‘hotel and spa’ was the worst place I have ever stayed in. The rooms were absolutely filthy - the first one we were allocated was full of bugs and had plants growing in the bathroom (see pic). The second room that we were given (after requesting a change) was filthy, and stank of damp and smoke - the corridor didn’t have a light so it was impossible to navigate after dark. We slept in a bug ridden bed with a duvet that was covered in cigarette burns. The room was never cleaned and after three nights the sanitary bin (which had no lid) smelt disgusting. Having said that, the rooms in the main part of the hotel are marginally better than the bungalows. The family who run the hotel are nice enough, but aren’t that helpful and use the lobby area as their family living room. This hotel is neither friendly, a resort or a spa. Do yourself a favour and do not stay here. …
I wouldn’t even want my worst enemy staying here, it’s awful. The staff are nice enough but just sit there watching TV in the lobby all day and don’t do anything. The whole place is so unclean. The rooms are gross, there were plants growing in the bathroom and bugs all over the place. The corridor was completely pitch black also so you had to shine a light to get to your room. The bed sheets (which really were table cloths) had cig burns in them and the beds were so uncomfortable. We only stayed here cause of the full moon party but honestly I would never stay again. The beach by the hotel is not that nice and full of litter. The only upshot is that it was a decent location. Not anywhere near worth the extortionate prices they charge.
I gave average score cuz they have nice location near by the beach, peaceful but you couldnt jump in. 8min walk to Haad Rin which host Fullmoon. The price was ok. The room was so smelly. On the bed sheet doesnt have some blood stains and some painting color from the previous guest. +++They have nice swimming pool. The owner is friendly but wasnt that helpful.
Four of us stayed here for full moon party, we paid €79 a night price was much higher due to the full moon. Not worth the money. On arrival the reception and pool area is nice. The room was horrible there was cockroaches in my room and ants in our bed. We asked to get the bed sheets changed which was no problem. The hotel itself is in a great location but very dated. If you plan on staying here only do so for one night if your very stuck, I think it’s only €16 to stay on a normal night.
we booked this resort the night before we travelled to koh phangan and didn't expect much for the money we paid. The resort is located on the opposite beach of fullmoon beach. I guess it is perfect because it is really quiet and you can sleep very good there! But we didn't stay over fullmoon party week so I am not sure about that. We got two rooms on the first floor located at the pool. The view from the balcony is priceless. We saw beautiful sunsets!! There is no light at the stairs to the room which made it kind of adventure at night! The bathroom is basic but clean and the AC did it's job. We did not try the food - there are a lot of restaurants nearby! The staff was very nice and helpful and there was always somebody if you needed something! Pool is big and gets cleaned every day! The sunbeds have seen better days! Cheap plastic beds with stains and not very comfortable. Beach in front of hotel is not very nice. Boats are leaving here. But fullmoonbeach is just 5 min walk away. Perfect place for us - we would stay here again!!…
