We stayed here for the full moon, the price was good compared to the other places in the area, I guess we paid a bit extra because it was full moon, but it was super cheap if we compare to what we would have paid in Europe. This was the first hotel we paid in our trip and we paid... More

It's a nice place to stay for a couple of days. Our rooms wasn't air conditioned but we had a fan. The bungalow definitely worth it for this money. You are very close to the ocean and just a few minutes away from the popular sunrise beach (full moon party beach)

After reading the reviews about Charung I was worried about staying here, when we finally got to the bungalows I was massively surprised. We only opted for the basic bungalow with fan. It was perfect, small little studio bungalow with separate bathroom. There is nothing more that you will need. You are 2 mins walk from the town and 5... More

terrible, grubby, smelly. Asked for deluxe bungalow, got a hovel like hole infested with bugs. Bathroom stank of sewage, shower didn't work, was reported and not fixed. A 2 night stay place max! would not go back.

Great for couples and those seeking a break from the party. A stones throw from the beach but still close enough to the action of the full moon on Haad Rin. Bunglaows are complete with private bathroom and hammock. Reception has beer!

We stayed in a basic double bungalow...It was disgusting, bugs don't bother me, welcome to Thailand but it smelt like a rat had died in there. Our window looks like it had been broken into, covered with tape. Our shower? Had one stream ( with less pressure then someone could pee with) and smelt like rotten eggs, where it drained?... More

We stayed in the air conditioned rooms in Charung bungalows for the full moon party and a few days after. The bungalows are in a great location - close to everything but not in the main drag of noise. While it was in a good location, the rooms were in udder disrepair. It had been parties in way too much... More

It is a good place to stay if you just want to do the full moon party. Since the hotel is in a good location which is quiet yet close go everything. We had great ocean view and amazing sunset although the beach kinda sucked for bathing it was nice. But the bungalows were really torn down and rather disgusting.... More

This verry cheap and nice accomodation at the sunset beach is managed by two lovely sisters, who help you with every problem. Since I did Backpacking and didn't expect much, I stayed at the cheapest bungalow and found it verry comfortable compared to the low prices. The surrounding is already a bit more quiet than the sunrise beach wibuth and... More

This place holds a special place in my heart. I've been here numerous times and have gotten the friendliest service in all of South East Asia. Linda runs it, as well as a shop at the reception in which she'll jokingly suggest you buy a Chang longneck or a bucket at 8 in the morning, in which I oblige. The... More
