Shenanigans is a purpose built guest house set in its own grounds. Our private rooms come equipped with 32 inch LCD TVs, HD Satellite with 135 English speaking channels, Air Con and a Kettle with free tea and coffee. Our en-suite rooms include full bathrooms with hot showers. All other rooms have shared western style bathrooms. We have a lovely garden and hold BBQs and foam /pool parties around our swimming pool . we are the leading Hostel on the island , years in year out book with us and you get a great package , we own a beach front water park and you get free use of it and all in contains , we also own 3 other restaurants and bars and you get 10% of food in these venues .

I love this place. Mind you, it was between full moon parties, so the town was quite quiet. Biggish room, with private ensuite, hot water, safe, TV, AC, a little cactus, and comfy bed. The owner Jon, is sparkley treat to add to this perfect package. I will be back for sure, expecting the same hospitality. Thanks heaps.

We stayed in one of the new AC rooms for a small upgrade price at check-in. the room was lovely with an up-to-date bathroom and nice siting area. We stayed for 5 nights and our room was swept and rinsed daily but we didn’t get any new sheets or towels. After the 3rd day, it became a little gross with the sand and sun block residue. Vick and Paul were nice. I thought it was a nuisance that we had to go get a breakfast vouchers and drink voucher every single day an dit wasn’t just give to us at check in. Sometimes it was painfull to wait while the workers were assisting other people and once we waited for 30 mins. Our food was also limited to eating at the Lazy House restaurant and every time we had to pay the difference since the voucher was only for 100THB and most of the…

I have stayed at Shenanigans twice now for January full moon parties 2013 and & 2014. The location is perfect located within 5 min walk of both Haad Rin (full moon) and sun set beaches. Both years there has been a great crowd of young Canadians and Europeans to make friends and party with. The staff was exceptional, big shout out to Ben and Paul For taking such good care of us, and Vic for painting us all up the night of the big dance. Only complaint would be its pricey, but you'll find most hostels around Haad Rin are, If you're looking to save money stay somewhere more central on the island and you can get a cab in to Haad Rin fairly easy. Also, if I went back again I would opt out of the bucket coupon deal, as the day after Full Moon you won't feel like more bloody Red…

I stayed at Shenanigans during December/ January 2013/2014 for 7 days. I arrived and was greeted by Paul one of the managers he was kind, very helpful and even gave me a lift on his moped to a restaurant as I didn't know the area well . The room I stayed in was new and had just been built. I was very happy with my room it was comfortable and it was a nice place to relax after a heavy night out. The WIFI was very good and worked well in all areas of my room. I had my own safe deposit box, sofa bed, TV and double bed. I enjoyed my experience at Shenanigans the staff were 10/10 providing fantastic service at such a busy time of the year. Thank you Paul, Jon, Jamie and everybody else for fantastic time.
