OK so been travelling around various Thailand hotels and bungalows and often disappointed. Came across this place because I visited the adjoining Secret Beach which is beautiful. Went over to their restaurant called Koh Raham which turned out to be a piece of paradise surrounded by the best views, good food and sea on all sides. The one part of... More

The hotel is very pretty, although I do not recommend getting a garden view bungalow, these are shabby. The sea view rooms are much nicer and the bed is very comfortable, only the bathrooms stay questionable and seem filthy, but this is the case almost everywhere on the island. The beach is tiny and not suitable for swimming, however some... More

It is totally in a deserted location from where the full moon party location is at least 2 hours away. Taxi charges for commutation from this hotel are too much. Poor service and no wi-fi range in rooms and a lot of mosquitoes. No intercom in rooms.

We traveled to Ko Phangan for Full Moon party and booked this resort only for a day. I ended up regretting that decision because I hated to leave this beautiful property. We were upgraded to a pool view villa on arrival and all 5 of us fell in love with the room right away. A biig sprawling room with a... More

Resort is outdated and poorly managed. The lady at the reception is - in contrast to every other hotel we booked in Thailand - very unfriendly. At the reception a sign welcomes you, that rooms are cleaned only every second day. If it were true, the rooms and especially the bathrooms couldn't be dirty as the are. Location and balconies... We stayed in a beachside room and it was superb. Very spacious, immaculately clean with the balcony overlooking a gorgeous beach and one of the coolest bar restaurants I've ever seen. The food and drink prices were very reasonable in the bar. The only negative I could think of was that the central area of the hotel was not as... More

We booked Haad Son on the advice of friends who had visited and it was the best advice we took going to Thailand. This is a fantastic resort and while it may be a little more expensive than other options in Ko Phangan, it is certainly worth it. We had initially booked to stay for three nights and ended up... This place has something of a strange vibe. Hard to put my finger on it. Stayed one night with my partner. Pros : The room was clean, comfortable and well fitted out. Spacious. Air-con worked well, bed was large and comfy. A balcony to enjoy the ocean feel and view. The balcony lounges though were wooden with no cushions on... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a family member who had been before. We spent the day on secret beach then headed up to the restaurant just after sun down. The hide away was all lit up which set the mood. The view over the sea was amazing. The food was too. I would recommend the Thai green curry.... More
