Stayed here with a group of four females. It was a part of the full moon party package and we all paid generous amounts to stay here. We were given the smallest, dirtiest room riddled with mosquitos and a shower that basically hangs over the toilet bowl. You also have to leave a cash deposit at check in rather than...

High tide meaning the full moon party season versus the quiet down time when there is no party (low tide), the Grand Sea is a great and affordable place to stay! I have stayed at two different times and enjoyed both for the following reasons: 1 - Easy to run/walk from the pier straight to the resort, if you are...

the location is not far from haad rin beach where the venue is for the famous full moon party. i wish we had more time to explore the island. the resort is setup on a hill with excellent view of the gulf of siam and ko samui as well.

I was more than comfortable there, not the most amazing amenities, but very nice overall. Great pool. 5 mins or so to all the shops near the ferry. Stayed as a couple in 2013, and as a family 2014, probably again this year. Air con and kept clean. Not the best internet.

booked for 5 nights and stayed for only 2, not nice at all. Staff were ok but the hotel is a bit run down. Shower was useless and even the woodwork in the rooms looks like its failing apart. Shame because from the outside its a nice looking place.

We paid extra for a villa by the beach and while the view was nice from outside the room was very minimal. Have stayed in nicer hostels for less. Beach is okay but very shallow. Our friend enjoyed renting a canoe to float around in. The showers in the bathrooms barely get warm, not even remotely hot and are just...
