If anyone wants to go to Thailand for the 5* resort then look elsewhere. This charming family run destination is basic, with fan cooled bungalows (electricity 6pm to 6am) and many a creature sharing your space, so I realise this is not for everyone. It is also expensive for Thailand but you will find it in line with other similar...

I would not wish this place in my worse enemy. So so dirty. But the worst thing about this place is the staff. I've never encountered such rude Thais in all my life. All the want is your money and not to service you in anyway. Please spend your money elsewhere.

I hate to write negative reviews but I feel compelled to warn others before they make the same mistake we did. First the positive:Tohko has a great beach. However, so does every resort on the islands. Negative: the rooms are filthy. Not rustic, not charming not quaint. They are disgusting. Blood stains on the sheets, blood stains on the mosquitos...

I stayed here alone for a week in February 2016 and having seen the tourist ghetto of the main part of Phi Phi I was so relieved to stay in this charming and secluded resort. It certainly is quite basic but you don't go there for luxury - my bungalow had all I needed - a mosquito net, a hammock...

First time in Thailand i was touched of rudness and bad energy of Thai people. U seem to be not welcomed at all. Our stay enjoyed more the two sweet dogs of the owners than the owners themselves. We stay whole Day on the beach as a companion of our friends which booked there for a few Days and i...

We are a young couple from the UK, stayed in a beautiful bamboo beach hut, simple but beautifully made! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the transfer by hotel from Phi phi to Tohko are a bit of shambles, the guy is supposed to be there after every ferry arrival and point you to there boat...

Really friendly staff, nice and cozy bamboo huts, amazing views from balcony, delicious food, perfect quiet private beach with possibility to do snorkelling, kayaking etc. Boat trips can be arranged on the same day to maya bay. Peaceful place with two amazing dogs that keeps this resort safe:)

We stayed in the bamboo bungalow with the most amazing view over the see. I loved everything about this place. It was secluded, away from all the tourists, the lady that is obviously managing it, was really nice. We helped ourselves to beer from the fridges and she just kept an eye on making sure it was recored on a...
