I stayed here for one night in Dec 2016. I charged my mobile in the morning before I left - I had to turn the outside lights on to charge my phone. I dont think the owner spoke much English so we mainly communicated through physical actions and gestures. From what I gathered he didn't much care for me leaving...

We chose The Rock for an impromptu lunch, largely due to its elevated location providing some breeze on a sweltering day. The food was a bit mediocre (my Pai Lai dish being rather mushy), my plate was chipped and my fork bent. Our Margaritas seemed to have no alcohol in them until we complained. Not a great experience!

Located right in the middle of town, this hostel is within walking distance of all the local bars and restraints. Wifi hardly works and rooms are very basic and lacks adequate facilities as their is lots of people who stay there, showers are cool and don't get hot. Non-English speaking making it hard to communicate but if you're looking for...

Went for lunch as the location is nice. Food was below average. Service was appalling. Super slow and the waiter was extremely rude. No smile, no please or thank you. We ordered a bottle of water for 3 and he didn't bring glasses. When we asked for glasses he rolled his eyes. There's hundreds of better places to go!

Most of the negative reviews on this place are around the restaurant - I didn't eat there so no comment on that front. My friend and I rented a private room w/ 2 beds and AC for 800 baht per night. I really don't have anything negative to say - the price was pretty decent and the room was adequate....

Terrible experience. Friend had her bag stolen and they wouldn't let her in the room to get things or money so she had to sleep on the street. I had the lesser of two evils which was to listen to a chicken outside my door for 6 hours.... terrible staff and accommodation

Awful food, everything we had was disgusting. The curry was undercooked and sweet af, the fried rice was tastless. I wish we had read the reviews before we went there. It's a bit pricey as well- don't waste your money

We ate at the attached Restaurant. It was very empty so service was very fast. But the pizza we ordered was terrible and doesn't even deserve the name pizza. The dough tasted more like a biscuit, the tomato sauce like super sweet ketchup and the ham (supposedly Italian prosciutto) more like a white piece of fat.

Stayed here for 2 nights in the mixed dorm. Was 150baht for the night but even so was not worth the money. Have stayed in hostels for 100 baht a night which were much better than this place. Upon arrival the staff were not friendly. They quickly checked you in and ushered you to your bed. The dorm was rammed....
