Stayed for one week at the end of November 2022 and paid just over $100 CAD per night.
Was met at the pier by one of their amazing team members who carted our luggage to the hotel front desk to check in and then to our room afterwards. Front desk staff was lovely as well and provided all the necessary information about the hotel.

The initial look at the room wasn’t great - floors and fridge didn’t appear the cleanest, LOTS of mold in the bathroom, balcony chairs pretty black with dirt, etc.
Safe was tiny (not big enough to fit a small iPad) and didn’t work so had to head back to the front desk to get that sorted as there’s no phone in the room, which they sent someone to fix right away.

“Garden View” was not what we were expecting. Highly recommend booking a poolside unit or anything else if you book here.

The SUPER bassy and loud music from the nearby hotel is a bit obnoxious as it plays until about 2am everyday…
Would definitely suggest bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Next door units closing their big wooden doors, as well as anyone blowing their nose/coughing/vomiting/showering/etc in the next door bathroom(s) is also super loud.

The bed and sleeping was definitely the worst part of the entire experience. We sleep on an extra firm mattress at home and it had NOTHING on the bed in our room. It was so hard that we ended up sleeping on top of the sheets and blanket they provided in hopes of making it a tiny bit softer. After a few nights, I began getting sick throughout the nights but felt much better as soon as we were out of the room the following morning for the day. I’m guessing it was due to the old, dirty air conditioner blowing throughout the night but it could have been the old mattress/pillows/linens or the massive amount of mold in the bathroom, or all of the above.

The breakfast was included with our booking which was a nice bonus and it seemed like there was something for everyone. Coffee, tea, juice, milk, cereal, bread, fruit, veggies, pad Thai, fried rice, bacon, ham, pancakes, French toast and an egg station. Breakfast team was always really great too.

My fiancé and I had two drinks each at the pool on our first day. When we went to pay, we were told the bill was more as the prices on the menu we were given to order from were old. Not a huge deal and we paid it but still somewhat annoying. One side of the pool has nice, new, comfy whicker lounge chairs. The other side has old, dirty, white plastic ones.

Checkout was a breeze and the items we took from the minibar were accurate on the bill. Our luggage was again carted by their team to the pier for us.

All in all, we personally wouldn’t stay here again. Not sure how the poolside rooms are but anything would have been better than our room I’m sure.

I was a little nervous about staying here based on some of the historic reviews, however we were pleasantly surprised. I think a lot of the more negative reviews are from a few years ago and no longer a reflection only the resort.

Overall we found it to be clean and pleasant. The staff were really nice, the room was basic but decent and the breakfast was really good with a mix of Thai and European options and a made to order egg station.

The pool is nice and pretty chilled. The pool bar was only open on one day of our stay but the cocktails were actually very good!!

A lot of reviews complain about the noise at night and it is very loud as the resort is behind a bunch of very loud beach bars with music going on til 2-3am. The hotel provides ear plugs and we are heavy sleepers anyway, so was not an issue for us. The counter to the house is the convenience of the hotel to the beach, which is a 1 minute walk! The hotel has no lift, so may be worth bearing in mind if you have heavy bags. There is a porter waiting for boat arrivals at the port who will push your bags in a trolly for the 10 minute walk to the resort. He also carried our bags up to the room, so we tipped nicely!

I would have no problem staying here again. There are definitely felt better quality options if you’re willing to pay a lot more, but Anita is very good value for money.

Great stay at Anita Resort! It’s really hard to find decent accommodation on Phi Phi and I was a bit nervous coming here reading reviews but I needed have been at all!
We stayed in one of the bungalows facing the pool and it was lovely. The room was spacious and had a big comfy bed (slightly firm which I do prefer) and the coldest air con I have experienced on phi phi. There was a mini bar with Changs, water etc for around 30 baht each, complimentary tea coffee etc with a kettle, and a hairdryer. Every day we got the room cleaned along with two complimentary bottles of water.
The location is absolutely perfect if you are coming here to party and have fun, it’s a 60 second walk to Slinky’s beach bar and the main beach area.
The downside here is that you will hear noise from the bars, I use white noise to sleep so wasn’t bothered but if you are somebody who needs a good, quiet night sleep then stay somewhere further away from the action.
This hotel is literally perfect if you’re coming here with friends to party! Will definitely come back next time!

Having read previous reviews we knew noise could be an issue staying here, however that didn’t prepare us for the level of noise and bass there was. I don’t leave reviews very frequently but I would like to make any potential new visitors aware that this hotel is right in between the loudest bars on the whole island. It’s a great location to be a few steps away from that type of scene going on here but every bar on the beach is in competition to be the loudest and there’s also a restaurant/bar that plays music until about 2/3am on the other side too, so there’s no real escape.
The staff are lovely, the breakfast was pretty good and the room was clean, so if you don’t mind the ridiculously loud music from 7.30pm until the early hours then it’s still a good place to stay. The hotel definitely needs to at least make a note of the noise in their advert.

Stayed at the hotel gor two nights with my partner.
Upon arrival the staff were waiting at the pier for us. They had a sign so was easy to spot. They took our luggage to the hotel for us which was around 5-10 min walk.
Staff were very friendly on arrival and were polite.
Our room was the bottom floor opisite the pool bar. The downfall to this was that the balony area was not seperate from the pool area. Therefore did not leave any personal items outside. We also always had to keep the curtains shut as people could easily see inside.
The air con worked however was not great, often during the night we had get up to turn it down. Then figured it was already on the lowest. However this was not a massive issue for us as we did not spend much time in the hotel.
The hotel was seconds away from the beach, restaurants and bars! Very central to everything!
Breakfast was basic, suited us for something before we left for activities etc. There was a lady making omletts, fried eggs so these were lovely and fresh!
Our room did not get cleaned whilst we were there due to only being there two nights, however they did leave our bottles of water outside for us.
When leaving, staff again took our luggage to the pier! Nothing to much bother!
Would defo stay again and recommend!

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 3 days.
Excellent friendly staff, performing their duties with a smile and speed.
The rooms are small but clean and comfortable.
The location is very central, in the very center of the party.
Of the minuses, precisely because the hotel is located in close proximity to the shore, it is very noisy. that's why the hotel provides you with earplugs in the room.
our room was in a building on the second floor. the stairs are steep. Therefore, people with problems in their legs will find it somewhat problematic

An excellent pool, albeit with very chlorinated water, but for that you get a Happy Airer until 18 o’clock for drinks 🥤
No complaints about breakfast
In short, I definitely recommend it
The price-quality ratio is clearly evident

Initially, no one from the hotel was at the pier to take our bags to the hotel. On arrival, the woman at reception was fairly pleasant.

When we got to our room, we were more than disappointed for the price we paid (baring in mind it’s an extra 3% when paying on card too). We have stayed in 10+ hotels during our stay in Thailand, and this was by far the worst. We have stayed in hostels that are much nicer.

To start with the positives; the location is great (they pretty much all are, because Phi Phi is such a small island) and the air con kept the room nice and cold (that’s if you unattached your key from the fob that activates the aircon). It was also useful to have someone carry our bags to the pier on departure.

Onto the negatives, of which there are many. The hotel feels very dated, minus the reception area. The aircon unit in the bathroom leaked constantly, meaning that the floor was always wet, had to keep taking the bath mat up because of drain off for the air con unit. There is no lift up to the rooms meaning you need to carry your bags up the stairs if you’re not on the ground floor. We weren’t able to adjust the temperature of the shower, only the flow. The front door doesn’t feel very secure. When shown to our room, we were told that the water and Lays crisps were complimentary. On check out, we were told this was not the case and we had to pay (not expensive - but not the point). The hotel is close to one of the loudest bars on Phi Phi. This wasn’t much of an issue for us as we are heavy sleepers, but any light sleepers should definitely stay away.

Overall, we would definitely not recommend this hotel and we regret the amount we paid for it.

Me & my partner meant to stay over the Christmas at this resort but unfortunately we had to change the accommodation.

The hotel is located right behind the loudest bar in the island so you will hear music every single night at least until 3.00 . We were ready for a bit noise but the music / base was that loud it was actually rattling the mirror on the wall. So after 2 sleepless night we had to check out. We have been offered upgrade to Deluxe room but that’s not solving problem as you can hear music from this bar within good 500m area. We have been giving 50% refund from one night .

I do feel sorry for owner of this resort because there is nothing they can do about this . Possibly it could be made clear when you booking ,that this is not right place for calm nights.

If you came to party this place couldn’t be better . It’s right in the middle of the party live.

However this place is a bit overpriced for what you get. The rooms are clean but very dated.

What a fantastic little hotel. Stayed in a villa, very clean. Staff are fantastic with excellent English and exceptional. Reported cold shower at 9.45pm and within 5 mins someone came to fix it. Lovely little restaurant for breakfast, again staff lovely. It’s in a busy part of town but it’s very quiet. Would highly recommend for the price.
