Phi Phi Bayview & Premier Resort offers a picturesque beachfront location that many travelers find charming, though some report it to be somewhat remote with unexpected amenities. While the resort boasts stunning views, guests have had mixed experiences with cleanliness, ranging from spotless to unsatisfactory upon arrival. Service quality also varies, with reports of both helpful staff and slow, inattentive service. The rooms and amenities, including the private beach, often receive criticism for being outdated and poorly maintained. Consequently, several guests question the resort's overall value.

We stayed 2 night in island and i want to say it was a special, amazing and exiciting experience. The hotel i think was lovely but could be better, the location was calm, hotel beach was really good. Tasty breakfast and veryyy good restuarant althogh the service was slow and take too much time to make foods ready.
The rooms was calm, clean and special diffrent from other hotels, the worst thing a bout rooms was their hilly location, it was so hard way from room to lobby. I think a little change in room could make them better, for example better bath room and more facility like tooth brush and separate liquid soap and shower gell.
At last i enjoy staying this hotel and i think it was different experience.

It is nice place to stay. Good breakfast verity 😄 coffee best we have drink in Thailand so far.
Staff was very friendly and helpful always smiling.
Rooms in which we were staying were nice too a part of the bathroom. Dirty toilet 🚾 on arrival, odour coming out from the shower drain which was very unpleasant when you’re showering 🧼
A part of of dirty toilet 🚽 location is nice. This make nice impression when you are picked up from the pier by boat and when you approaching hotel looks amazing!

If you looking for something nice on the budget this place is for you (of course if you don’t mine smelly bathroom 😆)
Really don’t know why people say staff is horrible. Is not true! Like I said staff are lovely!!!

Thank you so much Phi Phi Bayview Resort for having us 😊

I stayed here over christmas last year. The rooms are nice and spacious. They were clean. The resort is right on the beach, but also up on the hill side. There are rooms quite up on the hill as well. The hotel offers a free golf cart service to take you back and forth to the rooms, which was nice. They also gave out gift cakes for guests on christmas day. That was a nice touch. They have a longboat that picks you up from the pier, and make sure you wear shorts and flip flops, because your jumping out of the longboat into the ocean to get to the check in. I was in jeans, but oh well I got wet.
its about a 12-14 minute walk to the town which was nice. nice walk along the beach to get there.

I really feel that I need to address some of the negative comments on here as our stay at the Bayview has been nothing short of excellent. We booked 11 nights in a Deluxe Villa Sea View which worked out £100(ish) a night and whether it is because we went for a higher rate room that we have had no complaints at all. I was reading the reviews worried about what we would find and yet it has been a fantastic stay. To try and offer reassurance I’ll give feedback on the main issues people are talking about. Our room was really clean, the bed sheets were changed regularly and fresh towels. We had no issues getting beach towels which again were clean. So the bathroom was a bit tired but it’s a functional room that you get in, do your business, get out! The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water and you came out feeling clean and refreshed. Yes the toilet water is brown however I don’t spend my time looking down the toilet so why should this be an issue?! The hotel provided lots of free drinking water so we brushed our teeth using that, again not a problem. There is nothing wrong with the pool. I was expecting a horror scene but it was quite the contrast. Yes the water colour was not crystal blue but it was clean and I was happy to have a dip. There might have been the odd leaf floating around but it’s in the middle of a hillside full of trees and vegetation so that’s going to happen and there was a guy fishing out the debris regularly anyway. The location is in the hillside which is the charm of the bungalows with sea views to die for. The area was quiet yet only a short walk away from bars and restaurants so for me it was perfect. Animal wise, you have to realise that you are in a forest location so yes, animals live in the undergrowth. To sit on my balcony and hear the rustle in the leaves below and see a massive lizard having a mooch around was just amazing! We had two of the tiniest lizards having a walk around our bedroom ceiling causing no harm, probably enjoying the air con! Wifi was excellent, the TV had hundreds of stations and access to Netflix too. Mini-bar was reasonably priced and replenished daily. Breakfast was more than satisfactory. Staff were polite, courteous and smiling. There was a minor blip at check out where the card machine was not working and it wasn’t until another customer tried to pay with their card and the machine still didn’t work that the receptionist believed it was a problem their end, not ours! It was sorted relatively painlessly (thank goodness for the other guest proving the machine was at fault!) Hopefully my photos will offer reassurance it’s not the awful place that others are saying. Thank you Bayview for an amazing holiday, see you next year!

Bayview “resort” has to be the worst accomodation I have ever stayed at and completely destroyed my time in Phi Phi Island. For someone who has backpacked around Europe and has stayed in some pretty dirty places before, I’ve never seen anything as bad as this before. The photos online are very outdated and make it look nice and clean, this is not what it is actually like. The water coming out of the tap is brown and STINKS the entire room. I had to brush my teeth on the balcony and spit off the balcony in an effort to avoid the bathroom altogether. A shower was a no go zone. There are giant snakes and lizards roaming the facility, which is terrifying. The property is on an extremely steep hill and would be unbearable for someone who isn’t young and fit to get to and from their rooms. The breakfast buffet is located in a stinky area, which destroyed my appetite. Even if I felt up to eating, all that I could find that didn’t look gross was toast and butter. I ended up spending more money to buy a nice breakfast elsewhere. The location is far from the centre (approx 30 min walk) and you have to pass The human waste sewerage to get in and out of the centre, which is very smelly. The path to get to and from the centre does not feel safe to walk through at night. There are no taxi services to use to assist in the journey. The only positive of this place is that the aircon works well. That being said, electricity doesn’t run in the room when the one keycard isn’t in the room, so when you get back to the room it takes time to cool down and you can’t charge any electronic devices unless you wait in the room with it. The towels and sheets are all dirty with stains on them. You can not access the hotel from a pathway, you have to walk on the beach to get there, which is impossible with big suitcases. They offer a free shuttle service to and from the pier, however never told us. We had to walk from one side of the island to the other with our suitcases in extreme heat.

In need of a huge overhall and staff training.
After 6 weeks of travelling Thailand we found the staff here to be the most unfriendly, unhelpful and grumpy that we encountered on all our travels. Hospitality training is urgently needed!
Whilst noone can deny what a great location thia place is in, sadly it is in need of huge maintenance to being back to any decent standard. Decor is old and tired, brown water comes from the taps, toilet didnt flush, cushions unwashed, mouldy sun recliners, ants in rooms, cleanliness poor... they even ran out of towels whilst we were there when i told reception there were no towels in our bathroom i was told they had run out!
We had a delux room which was laughable, if the best rooms are this bad i dread to think what the others are like. The steps to rooms are a killer too in the extreme heat.
The island itself is pure paradise and the location of the hotel is great, just a 5 min walk to the bars and restaurants yet out the way enough to be quiet.
Really i would give the hotel just 1 star out of 5 yet i paid just over £500 for 3 nights on a paradise island so can i really complain? Maybe not but I would never book here again. There are far better on the Island

My friends and I decided to spend last 2 nights of our vacation in Thailand in Phi Phi island. We were excited to stay at this hotel after seeing very nice photos online. But it was a total letdown. The hotel is in urgent need of a refurbishment. Everything is old and tatty. The linen on our bed was dusty, possibly we were in a room that had not been occupied for a long time. The bathroom was dirty, we had to wear our slippers when showering. The only nice thing about this hotel was the beach that is literally in front of the hotel. Upon arrival we decided to eat at their restaurant. The food there is average but very expensive. We paid 80baht for a can of coke! Please do not eat at the hotel, there are far more affordable restaurants at the Pier that offers better quality food. The swimming pool is beautiful but has a lousy pool bar.Having seen other pool bars in Phuket, this was disappointing. My compliments goes to the staff, they were really friendly. Especially the ladies who organized our day tours.

Wow the views on this island are absolutely incredible! Enough to make up for the very poor quality of rooms.

I stayed here as part of a tour so did not choose to stay in this hotel. The overall hotel is VERY hilly, almost no flat ground so be prepared for a lot of walking up very steep hills.

The rooms were very basic. The bathrooms were dirty, the water in the toilet was brown throughout our visit, the shower wasn’t very powerful. Overall cleanliness was next to nothing.

Beds were average, room condition very poor. In need of a major upgrade and a deep clean!!

Pool and beach towels in short supply so get in there quick!

Swimming pool was quite dirty and the water was green and merky.

Food at the restaurant is nice, reasonably priced. Service very slow and they are not good with big groups, the food takes ages.

The hotel is close to the nightlife, market stalls and local restaurants, great location with the beautiful beach just a few steps outside the hotel.

However, a visit to phi phi is definitely to be had, although I wouldn’t recommend this hotel! But the island is absolutely beautiful, you will literally have to pinch yourself at the views!

Hotel: 5/10
Would I book this hotel again? Absolutely not!

I have just returned from this resort, following a four night stay with friends. We stayed in rooms B403 and B404, right at the back of the resort up a very steep hill. The rooms were extremely disappointing, old, tired and generally not clean either. Towels were taken and not replaced, water in tap and toilet brown, furniture tired, stains to walls in shower and paint peeling off in the bathroom. We have stayed here three times before and never had a problem. It was a very sad sight when we took our friends to show them beautiful Phi Phi. We were charged £72 per night by Agoda, so were expecting a decent standard of accommodation, which this was not. The resort is in a beautiful location, but generally falling into disrepair. The breakfast area was dirty, with stains all over the floor which remained for the duration of our stay.

Where to start on this awful experience. We arrived at the hotel to be told the room wouldn’t be ready yet so we waited an hour before asking again, they said another 20 minutes, again the room was still not ready, was told we could put our bags in the room and come back in another 20 minutes - 30 minutes later we returned to the room which still had the previous guests rubbish, dirty sheets on the bed and sand all over the floor. My partner went to reception to ask if we could get a different room to be told they were fully booked and that someone would clean it in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later someone came to clean it and we eventually got in the room.

The room has bed sheets that are no longer white but a faded used grey colour with rips and holes in it. The bed is as hard as a rock and the air conditioning must be about 30 years old. The screen and balcony doors don’t work and can only open half way.

The bathroom - a bright shade of dark blue green with the tiny lightbulb that doesn’t light anything up is so outdated. Broken tiles, a terrible shower, pieces falling off the sink. A sink that won’t drain, ants everywhere, and when you turn the shower on it floods the whole bathroom.

The front door is barely secure, felt unsafe. Location - it is the last hotel on the beach although the lovely views it is only accessible via the beach so it is a long walk to the centre and with no boats after 2pm definitely not accessible friendly.

Reconsider your booking at all. Read the reviews before. If you want a view. Book de deluxe villa. Dont go to the premium resort. Theres nothing premium.
