Zeavola is a slice of paradise! We absolutely loved this resort! The setting is just beautiful...the beach and water are nicer than Maya Bay if you ask me! The bluest water and you can enjoy some lovely snorkeling right off the beach. Our beachfront suite was lovely- it's perfect for a couple - a bit tight for 3 of us (it was me, my sister, and my son) and the outdoor living area is nice but yes there are lots of bugs so you can't really hang out there after sunset. The restaurants are great, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. If you have feedback- they are really open to receiving it and making improvements. Tik took excellent care of us and it was great to meet the executive chef and enjoy his famous lobster curry! The spa treatment was amazing and the hot stone massage was excellent. We rented a speedboat for a private excursion for 4 hours from 3-7 pm and that was an awesome experience - great snorkeling in some of the bays around Phi Phi Leh. We dived with a dive shop based on Tonsai and took longtails back and forth from the resort- it was not ideal but the dive shops in Tonsai are bigger and overall seem better equipped with more experienced instructors (especially if you have a young diver.) The pool was beautiful and cooling after a hot day on the beach. I would have liked to see some service there by the pool...no towels or drinks. Overall they would benefit from more staff. The housekeeping is fab and they left us amazing gifts and notes each night. The speed boat transfers from Phuket were smooth and easy. A dream experience. Probably the best place I have ever stayed. The package ‘one night in paradise’ is a must. The rooms, sea, especially the staff, nature all were excellent. White sands let you walk without any sleepers We liked the spa as well.

We just completed a fantastic few days, stay at Zeavola Resort. From the moment we stepped off the yellow Rak Talay catamaran and were warmly greeted by Khun Ek (Executive Assistant Manager) of the resort and the team with welcome cold lemongrass towels, a lei greeting of orchids and a really refreshing welcome drink. Everything was utterly perfect! Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner in both Baxil and Tacada restaurants were truly, delicious with varied dishes over our stay which included a Mixed Thai Starter, Goong Sarong, the Iron Chef Satya Signature dish of Phuket Lobster Curry, plus our other favourites of Phad Krapow, Beef Cheek, Massaman Chicken, Caesar Salad, Toasted Ham & Cheese Sandwich to mention a few. Signature jungle cocktails of the month, beer and wine were easily ordered from the very attentive Tik, Bankie, Nico, Wave and Neung, a true credit to the Zeavola. Breakfast was a nice set-up of buffet and A-la-Carte options with Chef Satya doing a walk around interacting with guests. A true master of his profession! I spent some lazy afternoons alone splashing about in the large communal pool usually between 10am and 3pm. Considering the hotel was full, I was the only one in it when I was there, so it felt more like my own private hideaway pool. Our suite was perfect for our stay, amenities, fresh fruit, bathrobes, bottled water and even the mosquito netting over the beds was a welcome touch. Each night we happily returned to a beautifully turned-down bed, cool sheets and oh! so comfortable bed. Big thanks to the talented housekeeping team for the origami-style towel folding and the daily care of our suite, your hard work is much appreciated. I read many a negative review about mosquitos in the resort, however, this is to be expected given the setting of this idyllic place and its barefoot charm. Zeavola is a very unique 5-star property, as you will ever get, given the fact, flora & fauna abound in this environment and are a most welcome change/ addition to the hustle and bustle, stress and strain of city life. Even the occasional tractor is a reminder that we live in the 21st century and life does indeed have to go on, though, still not churning out as much pollution as say a holiday vacation in Bangkok. Having sand between our toes and walking along the beach hand-in-hand, at sunrise and sunset is magical and a moment of joy never to be forgotten till the next time we have the pleasure of returning to the Zeavola. We were not staying in the hotel but we used the dive centre. We saw the centre whilst on the beach and called in to ask about doing our open water dives as we had completed the PADI theory and pool sessions in the UK. We met Marco who was really patient with two sixty years young novice divers!! We had a couple of hours in the pool with him going over the basics then spent three further days at sea. We did two dives each day and had a long lunch break in between. My husband and I had a fantastic time and we are both fully committed to continuing our diving adventures. This is thanks to the patience and knowledge that Marco showed. The diving was great and we saw many black tipped sharks- amazing. Next time we are in phi phi we would definitely stay in this hotel as we were shown a room and it was superb. We ate at the restaurant after each dive and would highly recommend.…

An absolutely wonderful resort with fantastic stuff, and the best breakfast I’ve ever had. A fantastic place to go, if you want to see how the island used to be, and still is. Entirely plastic free and very eco-friendly. The rooms are incredibly comfortable. Comfortable it is everything you want from a high-end five star resort, but the real difference is the staff. Everybody from Lion, the manager down to the porters, and everybody in between is incredibly well trained at their job and you know from their attitude, they just love working there, and will go the extra mile to make your stay better. The traditional Thai village feel is really nice and you can wonder around barefoot aside from when the sand/decking gets too hit! It’s a really relaxed resort and the way the staff are fits into that. Our room was lovely (we had one with an indoor bathroom). We didn’t really use our outdoor living room because of the mosquitoes but it was well equipped. The bedroom was comfortable. The bathroom is basic but nice enough. It could do with a mirror over the sink for shaving and a full length mirror rather than just having one on the inside of the wardrobe door. The temperature on the shower was a bit temperamental too. We ate the restaurant each night. On the first couple of nights they seemed to be under staffed which led to us feeling a little neglected but after that we noticed more staff and they began to know us more which was great. The cocktails are great especially the specials which change monthly. There’s a good selection of food, we stuck with the Thai dishes but the western dishes looked very good too. The pool area is lovely and you can walk down to the beach easily so you can have a best of both areas. We went on a six hour long tail boat tour of the islands which was great and well organised.…

We had an amazing time at Zeavola. What an incredible resort. We stayed for 10 nights as we wanted to get away to a quiet location to just chill and this certainly did not disappoint. Every single member of staff we encountered was lovely, helpful and friendly. The accommodation was actually like being on a desert island beach with sandy paths and a barefoot ethos. So many special touches from evening turn down surprises, fruit delivered daily to the room and fruit kebabs on the beach - they really go that bit further to make your stay a memorable one. The food was of an exceptionally high standard with a good variety of Thai and Western on offer. The head chef was visible throughout ensuring everything ran smoothly and interacting with the guests. Staff in the restaurant/ bar were so friendly with each one wanting to make your stay effortless - and for us particularly Nico who looked after us most days. The beachfront was kept clean and rubbish free and there was always a comfortable bed available with towels to hand. We completed our Open Water Scuba Diving with the on site PADI Centre. Gaby was very professional and because we agreed everything by email before arriving so he welcomed us personally and put us at ease. Johanna was our trainer and she was magnificent. We were quite nervous and she empowered us to feel we really could complete the course. She was thorough and professional throughout and when out of the water was so personable and friendly. We couldn't recommend this resort enough. We will definitely be returning. …

We had an amazing stay at Zeavola. The people and service were unparalleled. They took care of us the entire time and were very attentive and accommodating. The entire staff knew our name from the second we arrived. Every suggested activity was amazing and they took care of every detail. We enjoyed going to the spa. We splurged on a suite with our own pool and it was worth every penny. Highly recommend staying at this resort.

An amazing resort on the beautiful island of Phi Phi. We stayed here for 4 nights in February 2023 and had the most amazing relaxing time. There was an initial problem with our room allocation on arrival but this was swiftly dealt with by Lion and his team and didn’t cause any problems, in fact they were most apologetic and offered complementary dinner that evening which was fantastic. I don’t understand why people complain about the mosquitos, this is out of the resorts control, you are in a jungle and they do everything possible to help control them. A particular shout out to Banky who goes out of his way to make you feel so welcome. Would recommend the Maya Island trip. I wish I was there now sat on a bean bag on the beach enjoying a 🍹
