We have just stayed here for 6 nights.
Arrival: Laemthong beach can only be reached by boat. We were offered a ferry from Tongsai Pier for 200baht per person but decided to opt for a longboat to save waiting around . It was 1000 baht for the boat but well worth it! We arrived on the longboat and had to carry our luggage in knee deep water - so don’t wear trainers ! We had a super warm welcome at the resort . Cool towels to cool us down plus a refreshing welcome drink. ALL of the staff were lovely and spoke good English.
Room: we had a superior cottage which luckily had a wonderful sea view! The room was large, had a beautiful balcony. A large double bed plus a single bed. Fridge , Tea/coffee facilities. All toiletries provided including toothbrush/toothpaste. The shower could have been a bit more powerful but was perfectly adequate. Lots of towels for room and pool. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard.
There are 2 pool areas, the one overlooking the ocean is fab, very clean with great sun lounge area.
Breakfast: excellent! A great choice and really tasty Asian food. The only downside was that the coffee wasn’t very tasty.
Lunch/dinner: a great menu and food was delicious and reasonably priced! Great red wine!
We hired a boat and went to bamboo island where we had the most amazing snorkelling experience , surrounded by hundreds of beautiful fish.
WIFI worked intermittently in the room but was great in all public areas. We had to work for a couple of hours each day and the staff kindly let us sit at a desk in the dive school reception.
The spa is expensive but worth it. I had a massage for £16- and it lasted for nearly an hour and a half !
We leave in the morning and staff have already arranged our private boat.
An absolutely wonderful stay, we can’t wait to return !

We came here for snorkeling and really enjoyed the reefs which you can access from two private beaches. They host a variety of clownfish, parrotfish and many more. Visibility is ok.
The breakfast buffet was awesome and they put a lot of effort into putting together a new year's eve party. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
Downsides were the extremely hard and uncomfortable bed which gave us a backache for the first three days. The whole island is quite pricy and all the restaurants along this beach cost nearly twice as much as the ones on the next beach further south.
For snorkeling, this is hotel is the best choice on this part of the island.

Good day Paul! We would like to thank you again for coming to PHI PHI NATURAL RESORT. We apologize if the bed made you uncomfortable, but thank you for your review because it will surely help us improve more our facilities, amenities and services. For the restaurants in the island being pricey, as much as we want to make it cheaper the only thing our resort can offer is to give 10% discount to anyone who will eat at our restaurants. But for the restaurants outside, it's also a bit pricey because all of the raw ingredients will either come from Tonsai, Krabi or Phuket, so they have to also cover the transport of the supply they need. But also we are happy that you appreciated our staffs hospitality and the snorkeling spots in this part of the island. We hope to see you again and we wish you guys a very happy new year and more travels for you guys this year. -Louise Lagura Guest Services Assistant Manager

Amazing part of the island to retreat away from every day life, traffic, hustle and bustle.

Rooms were quite dark but that’s due to location of being amongst the trees but apart from that very comfortable and the housekeeping team changed the sheets every day.

The restaurant and bar were attentively looked after, food was delicious.

The location was totally tropical, blue/green secluded sea and white sandy beaches that stretch for miles, what’s not to love!

If you’re looking for nightlife this is not your place but if you want to get away room it all then check yourself in!

During the whole stay at the Phi Phi Natural Resort we were feeling very welcome all the time. The resort staff was ready to help by any query. Beautiful tropical garden, quite big and cozy resort area, stunning views from different points at the resort. The room was worthy of its price, housekeeping service was on a good level. We were really touched by placing roses into our room on the Valentine’s day. We also appreciated a plate of local fruit given to us every day. The food at the restaurant was testy. The beach was good with clean and blue water, but swimming depended much on high and low tides. If you are a snorkeling lover as we are we would suggest you to take a snorkeling tour around the island because the coral reef which is close to shore is very poor. We are grateful to all the resort staff for our unforgettable vacation there.

It was our second stay in the hotel. And we never regret to choose it again. There are more stars hotels near but I think the location and territory of Natural resort are much better here. You feel like living in tropical garden with the beach just in front of it. The room was daily cleaned, lots of towels and good quality of all toilet things ( shampoo, shower gel, etc). The breakfast was tasty and good variety of food. Also it was a pleasant surprise that they organize Thai street food festival in the evenings ( spring ralls, pad Thai, etc.) It was real fun - tables were just on the beach, and the food prices were very cheap. Thanks a lot for our lovely stay!

We have spent 3 days in PhiPhi Natural. We had a detailed check-in with all the necessary information about the hotel and programs nearby by Louise. We have received an upgrade to one of the villas which was amazing!! All the staff was extremely nice and attended our wishes promptly. Since the resort is quite big, besides the big beach there are some smaller hidden beaches which are completely empty. The water was crystal clear and we have not seen any trash at all.

There were plenty of restaurants along the beach with great international and also local selections!

We have spend some magical days here, thank you PhiPhi Natural, especially Louise, who has made our stay unforgettable.

Max & Eszti

p.s: The only slightly negative experience we had was the hotel massage, it was a bit overpriced and not very professional. There are other closeby options though for good massages.

From arrival until departure, we were treated to 5-star service. Louise, Mook and Bannk extended us Thai hospitality, second to none. The entire staff, always smiling, extremely friendly and helpful, are passionate about their work,
making sure that all our needs were taken care of on a daily basis. Our room, directly overlooking the ocean, was completely renovated, showcasing what Koh Phi Phi paradise should look like. Housekeeping was there every morning, refreshing the room to the highest standards. We found the restaurant very clean with good food at reasonable and comparable island prices. They do not hold you hostage and price gouge you. Breakfast is included (at least for us) and was a clean, high standard buffet with a daily variety. Any kind of tour or travel arrangements were secured and double checked by the front desk to make sure your experience has zero problems. You are treated to sunrise on one side of their resort and sunset on the other side. As the sun sets into the ocean you will hear an orchestra of cicadas in the surrounding jungle. Some of the best snorkeling can be done directly from their beach for free; no need to take any costly organized trips. If you want to party and be around a lot of people, stay in Phi Phi town. If you want total peace and quiet, natural serenity, and personal touches, this place is for you! We would sincerely recommend Phi Phi Natural Resort to anyone that wants to relax and enjoy beautiful scenery with white glove service.

My mom and I traveled to Phi Phi Natural Resort on Jan 26th, after check in they used shutter truck to take us to our room. There was a huge bump on the way there!!! She fell from the back of the truck and get head injured!!!! We took her to a close room and thank god she seemed okay. On the third day one of their manager came and insisted her to go to hospital. The hospital they took us to doesn’t have CT scan or X ray rather than gave some meds. They said they took full responsibility but does not offer any compensation other than personally take us to dinner? The corporate also owns the Erawan Palms Resort right near by, so please do not stay at any of those two resorts to contribute to my mothers face and head injuries plus their irresponsibility!

Good Day Mr. Liu & Ms. Wang On behalf of Phi Phi Natural Resort, from the bottom of our hearts we are terribly sorry for the accident that have happened. Like you said no one wants an accident to happen, but accidents happen unintentionally and unexpectedly. Since the first day until the day of your check out, we did the best we could to compensate for what happened, and we know that you know what those are. We are sorry that we weren't able to meet with some of your demands and requests, and we also apologize if we ever have some lapses with how we should have acted with the situation. It's the first time this accident happened, but rest assure that we have learned a lot on what to do more if ever it happened again. But since that time we already made a lot of future preparations and plans on how to prevent it and deal with this kind of situations. Because no one want this kind of things to happen ever again. We are very worried and concerned as well. We're glad that doctors said everything is okay with your mother and we know still, that sorry is not enough for what happened. Regardless of the situation, we are still thankful for you guys for coming here at Phi Phi Natural Resort, and thankful that your mother was okay and will be okay. We wish you guys good health, stay safe and more travel in the future. Take care always and have a great day. 🙏🏻 -Louise Lagura Guests Services Assistant Manager “Speak with honesty, think with sincerity, and act with integrity.”❤️

We stayed here for a couple of days, as our friends got married at the Zeavola resort next door, but we couldn’t afford to stay there.

You have to get boat round to it from the ferry/speedboat terminal (note - if you get sea sick, don’t get the speed boat over from Phuket, the ferry is for you. The speed boat is a killer!! I was violently sick and I’m a pretty good traveller)

The resort is at the end of a stunning beach (Leam Tong beach). Staff are wonderful and very helpful. Rooms were lovely and clean. Air conditioning. Breakfast was good. Something for everyone.

Would definitely recommend the place.

The Idylic location & the staff are the only positives for this hotel. Its very sad to see theses massive structures with little or nothing happened in them. All these outside dining areas left idle. The room was fine, about 10 mins up a hill and 2 staircases to get to the front door. The bed again was like sleeping on a pavement as they are rock hard. The pool area closer to reception has zero attention from staff, so if you’d like a drink you must walk about 10 mins to the bar. Bar service was only ok, i would have sat there longer if someone would actually wash the 30/40 glasses that were just left dotted everywhere with nobody to tidy the area, again zero interest in actually wanting guests to stay at the bar, absolutely none, which surprised me. There are some local food spots further down which were inviting & had great food. On checking out we had to bring our luggage down the hill by ourselves as it was early morning. I wasn’t impressed by the breakfast offering either. Im thankful we stayed just one night. A serious shake up here is needed to fix these issues and further investment from the 7 owners would not go astray.

Hi First of all its not within walking distance , when you arrive in phi phi you wlll be at the other end of the island and there are no roads to your hotel , but dont worry there are loads of longboats to drop you off the pier and they will come up to you offering there transfer services , and where you are dropped off a tractor pulling a people mover will drop you outside the hotel free of charge . its really straight forward so do not worry and have a good time.

Are there places to go from here to eat out and maybe party a little ?
Ko Phi Phi Don, Thailand38 contributions
For party and bars, it's mostly in Tonsai which is the nearest, kind of, city here. From Natural to Tonsai you need to take the ferry or shuttle boat, that's the cheapest way to go there and the last ferry / shuttle boat going back to natural is 17:30. In this part of the island, it's more for relaxing and being with nature so mostly restaurants around here close around 22:00- 23:00. For eating, other than the restaurants in the resort, we have some local ones, which is jasmine or the restaurants beside it.

Are there designated smoking areas?
Ko Phi Phi Don, Thailand38 contributions
Good Day Mr. Nico, There are designated smoking areas in the resort. You will know it when you see our big ash trays. But you can smoke anywhere around the resort or the island. We just advise guests if they smoke else where, other than our designated smoking area, to avoid throwing the cigarette butts on the sand or anywhere. Let's help each other save nature. =) -Louise Lagura Guest Services Assistant Manager

Good Day! If you're looking for a transportation going around the islands, like a tour, we offer private Longtail Boat and our Hop on/ Hop off Boat Tour. For the private Longtail the price is per boat not per person (6 person max per boat) but you can do the tour even if you're alone or 6 person. For the Hop on / Hop off boat tour, it's more sightseeing around the island. You only go down the boat at 3 destinations, which is at Laemtong, Long Beach and Tonsai. -Louise Lagura Guest Services Assistant Manager

Now that we’ve been to Phi Phi Natural Resort, I can answer my own question for the benefit of other travelers: It is very easy to get to the resort and a bit of a fun adventure! There are 2 ferry stops on Phi Phi Island, the First is the main stop at Tonsi Pier, do not get off the ferry here (the ferry people will put a sticker on you and tell you what to do - it’s painless). You get off the ferry at the second stop, where hotel staff will greet you. They will get your bags and haul them to land, where you will board a trailer pulled by a tractor! Like I said, a fun adventure! I won’t spoil it anymore than that, but you and your bags will be delivered directly to the hotel front desk! For our departure, our travel agent booked us a private long tail boat back to Tonsi Pier. This is considered the more “VIP” way to go, but honestly, I think taking the ferry back would have been easier! Our long tail driver had to park about 200 yards off the beach because the water was low, and we had to walk 200 yards in 6 - 8” of water to the beach. Thank goodness the long tail guy CARRIED our big suit cases about 55lbs each! It was cool, but the ferry was cheaper, air conditioned and pulls onto the pier alongside ferry going back to Krabi or Phuket... Long story short, you will not be carrying your own suitcases down a hot tropical beach (which was my fear) - which ever way you go, the hotel staff, ferry and/or long tail folks are all extremely helpful and make it as easy as possible for you! The Holiday Inn and other hotels at the secluded end of the island had similar methods. Hope this helps everyone out! Enjoy Phi Phi - it’s beautiful! We stayed 3 days and I wish we would have stayed 1 more! Last tip - charter a private long tail right off the beach in front of hotel. We had our own private long tail all day (almost 7 hours) for 2000B. Our driver was Gibley or Gipley / long tail boat #41 - he was great, took us everywhere, no rushing, left when we were ready to go, great time!
