True that people party until very late at night at the beach nearby and they have loud music and fire dance. That doesn’t bother me because I know Phi Phi is very touristy and this resort is not far from that party zone. I wish to come back to swim in their pool again. Water was not cold in October.
The bed looked clean.
We arrived late and next day we had booked a tour early, so we ended up staying 2 nights as booked.
Both nights there was music from the beach bars and dance places til 3 am rolling across the water and up the hill, so bring earplugs if you want to sleep here.
The pool area is situated beautifully as you can see in most pictures and the price for a room fairly low. We think that’s why some give it a good review.
However we will find other accommodation.

My wife and I booked a bungalow at Phi Phi View Point Resort through Hotels.com. Based on the pictures, we expected a cozy and well-kept accommodation, but what we met was a disaster.
Here are some of the problems we experienced:
1. Insects in the room – We had mosquitoes, ants and spiders in the bungalow, which made it impossible to feel comfortable.
2. The fridge didn’t work – It was hot and useless.
3. Dirty toilet and disgusting shower – The toilet was unhygienic and the shower was full of rust.
4. Door locks that did not work – We felt unsafe because the door could not be locked properly.
5. The floor had large gaps – We could see straight down to the ground under the bungalow, which made it feel unsafe and poorly insulated.
The worst part is that we paid extra for this accommodation and felt cheated. The pictures on the booking page do not correspond at all to reality.
We have documented everything with photos and plan to contact Hotels.com for a refund. I highly recommend that you look for another accommodation if you plan to travel to Phi Phi Islands. This is not worth the money.

“WARNING for Phi Phi View Point Resort – Avoid this hotel!”
If you plan to stay at Phi Phi View Point Resort, think again! My wife and I booked a detached bungalow here through Hotels.com and paid extra to get better standards, but the accommodation was very disappointing.
This is what we experienced:
• The room was full of mosquitoes, ants and spiders.
• The toilet was dirty and the shower rusty.
• The fridge did not work at all, and the door lock could not be used, which felt very unsafe.
• The floor had big cracks that allowed us to see straight down on the ground below us.
The pictures on the booking page were misleading and totally exaggerated the standard. We have documented everything and will contact Hotels.com to get our money back.
If you are looking for accommodation in Phi Phi Islands – choose another hotel! This wasn't worth the money or the stress.
Many reviews suggest scam from the reception so we made sure we filmed when handing over our cash.
The pool is bright green so cannot be swim in. No chlorine or maintenance.
The view is however beautiful, as is phi phi. But please find somewhere else to stay.
Room - filthy. Air conditioning - more like a fan. SO many mosquitos in the room; probably coming in the doors and windows with all the cracks. Cockroaches both nights. Disgusting smell when you walk up to the 'resort' which also comes up through the bathrooms. If it wasn't for the fact we literally spent a few hours sleeping for 2 nights, we would have gone to another place. I'm sure the hostels on the island provide cleaner facilities. Really should be closed down and start all over again.
Would NEVER recommend.
