A little far from the center, the only place to walk in Phi Phi and where all the restaurants, shops, etc. are located... about 15-20 min. walking. Based on our experience being too far away, if I returned I would choose another hotel closer to Tonsai (bye koh, it looks very good, recently renovated and much better located). When you walk back at night after dinner (at 10:00 p.m.) it's a little dark. In Tonsai there is not a lot of nighttime “revelry” because it is just on the other side in Loh Dalum where they do fire shows around 9 pm. If you stay in Tonsai it is a 10' walk. If you stay at Phi Phi Villa Resort it is 20. In Tonsai it is very quiet at night. We just chose this hotel because it was far away thinking that Tonsai was noisy but it is not. Fair cleaning. It lacks a lot of maintenance: there are chips, damp, furniture from the 80s, bed hard as a rock, very noisy air conditioning. The shower water comes out cold (and salty, but that's all over the island). Only 1 shower towel per guest, no hand towel. Of course, they lend you 1 beach towel per day. The breakfast was very fair, there were no croisants. You have to give a 1,000 baht deposit in cash, which is returned to you when you check out. Check out is at 11, there is no shower to stay in the pool after check out, I asked and they showed me the pool shower😅 When you arrive at the port of Tonsai, they take your suitcase on a cart and you walk. They don't take your suitcase up to the room, you have to carry it up the stairs yourself. The receptionist (thin) was super friendly, explained everything to us upon arrival, very attentive. The pool is very good, comfortable and enough sun loungers for all guests. I recommend taking the private longtail tour right there because it is cheaper and they organize everything for you (contact, towels, they take your backpack to the boat...). In short, they treated us well but the room was very bad. I would not return and if you are reading this I recommend looking for a better option.

We secured two bungalows for what is roughly 65 pounds per night, per room. For this price, do not expect luxury. However, the bungalows were comfortable and well air conditioned. There is a safe, a mini-fridge for your drinks, a desk, a TV, and a basic patio area outside with chairs. My bathroom was really quite large. You could fit about 10 people in my shower cubicle! Clean towels were provided. The bungalows were also near the swimming pool, the resort shop and reception (approx a 30 second walk) which was very convenient. The resort shop is open very late so you can pick up snacks, cold drinks, etc til late. The resort has its own restaurant on the beach and it is lovely. It has a fantastic views of Koh Phi Phi Leh. Lovely for a quiet lunch or relaxing evening dinner. We enjoyed the food and drinks in the beach restaurant very much. The staff at the resort were all friendly (esp the nice young man on reception) and they were helpful. One day my aircon unit broke down and mechanics were there to fix it within a few minutes of reporting it to reception. They had it up and running in no time and were polite and eager to fix the problem quickly. The resort is about a 15 min walk to Tonsai pier; please keep this in mind, especially if you have mobility issues or if you find the heat and humidity to be testing. However, because of it's location, it's also relaxed and peaceful and has a calm beach area. I would recommend this resort, just please adapt your expectations and be kind to the staff who are there to make your stay comfortable. I did notice some guests being cold and sharp with reception staff. This was unnecessary and inappropriate. If you want luxury, you should go to SAii village resort or Zeavola on the other side of the island. Nice resort; I would stay here again when I visit Phi Phi again

Considering the price I didn’t expect to much. The resort was in a good location just next to the beach and only 10-15 mins brisk walk into the main area of Phi Phi Don. Our bungalow was at the front of the resort with good views to the beach and the walk way. Overall good standard, beds a bit hard as common in Thailand and bathroom was in good condition with bath and shower with reasonable pressure. The pool was small but ok but they could have possibly been a bit more gentle on the chemicals used seemed to be a bit much chlorine. Breakfast was average, usually set up with egg station, some cereal options, some hot dishes, fresh fruit, bread and spreads.
Staff friendly and helpful with organizing transport to our next location. I also want to commend the guy who wheeled our luggage to and from the boat pier a good 15-20 run for him. He was very helpful making sure we navigated to the right place at the pier for our departure.
Not sure how common it is but one of my daughters stepped on a sea urchin in the water less then 10 mins of the beach in front of the resort which was very unpleasant for her with several spines in her foot. After that we bought water shoes for protection. We did see a lot of other people in the water without protective shoes and didn’t observe anyone else being stung so might have been a rear thing that happened to us

We came here for 3 nights during our honeymoon. We really liked the section of the island that this hotel is located on as it is more private/clean.The beach this is on is gorgeous and good for swimming. The pool is also nice. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here and we would probably return. This is a good hotel for families with young kids.
Cons: This property has an onsite restaurant with very nice views, but there is no alcohol served on the property, so you are not able to order a cocktail while at the beach, pool or having lunch at the restaurant. There is also a small market on the property, but they also do not sell beer or wine. This really is such a nice property/location, but it is a bit inconvenient to go off the property to order a cocktail if you are hanging by the beach for the day. That being said, the hotel doesn't mind if you bring your own cocktails or wine to the pool or private beach....the hotel also should add a few more lounge chairs on the beach.
The shower/bathroom in the rooms could also use some upgrades...it is outdoors.
I liked the free breakfast that was provided, they had all the options that a traditional continental breakfast would provide, I am surprised to see all the negative reviews about the breakfast...this was nice and it is served in a nice room.
If you go to Phi Phi, I recommend doing an early morning 7-hour boat day. This was the highlight of our Thailand trip.
Overall, this property is clean, quiet, gorgeous beach, nice pool, nice breakfast. Quick walk to phi phi bars/restaurants (which is preferred). It could easily be a 4-star hotel if they added cocktail service at the beach, more beach chairs and more attentive customer service.

Fab pool and breakfast area, and nice little beach area with beds and swings to a peaceful beach. The staff could do with being a bit more friendly. We booked for 2 adults and 2 children and on arrival got told it’s extra for the bed for the children - but got told it’s very clear and obvious and the guy on reception was very rude. House keeping did come each day but it was always pot luck whether we got four new towels, or 2 or 3, and never again did we get small hair towels. It’s about 10-15 minutes walk to the pier but the hotel carry all your luggage to and from, and it’s a lovely walk, we found it really nice being out of the main centre. Places we loved too: patcharee bakery - the menu choice is insane and everything was so good, the staff so friendly too. Acqua restaurant also lovely with lovely owner and fab food. Trips we did: pi Leh lagoon highly recommend, monkey beach, Maya bay, and Viking cave. Easily get trips sorted. We walked to the viewpoint but make sure you start at the steps. We followed a sign and it was 3.5km trek and through farms 🫣🤣

Wow. Myself and my partner have been travelling around Thailand and this has been, by far, our favourite hotel. The location is only a 10 minute walk away from the busy hustle of Phi Phi town centre where you will find lively bars and some of the best restaurants in South East Asia. Despite only being a 10 minute walk from the beating heart of Phi Phi, this hotel feels worlds away in a calm and relaxed corner of this utopian Thai island. We stayed in a Luxury Deluxe Villa which offers guests a feeling of privacy and seclusion as they unwind in a stand alone cabin style villa, whilst only being a 30 second walk away from the crystal clear pool and the rest of the hotel’s facilities. Breakfast was a particular highlight for us with a live egg station and a wide variety of buffet options to enjoy. No alcohol is served at the hotel bar or restaurant, however this did not hinder our pleasure in the slightest and was a welcomed break away from the buzz of the nightlife in Phi Phi.

Our family group recently stayed at Phi Phi Villa Resort for 1 week and held a wedding on the beach at the front of the resort. Despite the monsoon weather making the wedding set-up and ceremony a little tricky, the resort staff were super helpful and accommodating to our needs. We travelled with my two young children and older parents and the resort bungalow style rooms were awesome.e for us. They were cleaned daily (if needed), shower temp and pressure were great. Good beds. Excellent buffet breakfasts. Luggage porters were so friendly and appreciated for collecting and delivering our bags from the pier. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We stayed 2 days at this hotel and had a very sad ending to our stay. You are asked to pay a deposit when you stay without knowing what that deposit is supposed to cover. Once we came up the room we notified they had put 3 porcelain dispensers next to the hand washing sink in the bathroom. Shampoo, body wash & conditioner. I thought that was rather odd placement and moved them in to the shower area or els I had to get out of the shower everytime I have to get them. My wife unfortunately last day knocked one of these down and it broke. When we checked out, they wanted to charge us 350bqht for it, and we had to pay even though I explained that they should not have porcelain in a bathroom without it being mounted and that the entire set up was fishy, those dispensing we later found in a market for 50baht. Not good

Breakfast was included but closed quite early around 10am. Pool looks right onto beach which is nice. There’s a small gym & table tennis. The hotel is quite out the way from main area, maybe around 20 minutes. It was great that the workers collect your bags from the pier and take them to hotel for you and also take them back to pier when checking out.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during our recent 6 months in SE Asia, we were in one of the one bedroom deluxe bungalows and it was more than adequate for our short stay.
The room was a bit dated and whilst the shower was powerful enough the water never really got hot.
Breakfast is included and it’s ok nothing spectacular but it has some tea strange combinations for food e.g. spaghetti bolognese, cream of mushroom soup.
The pool area is very good with a large size pool and lots of beds, the resort also has its own private area on the beach but you need to be quick of the mark to get a lounger.
The staff are friendly but be aware that they take a deposit of 1000bht for the room key so be prepared.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk away from the centre but that’s a good point as Phi Phi is exceptionally busy.
All in all this hotel is fine for a couple of nights but if you’re staying any longer I would consider a bit more comfort.

Wow that definitely new information to me. We had no problem getting alchol at all .think it was midnight closer. The beach bar what is apart of the hotel did serve beer etc, u can step straight onto the beach from the bar or walk 5 metres and jump in the pool
The resort was very nice as we had a really good pool and the room was clean and nicely decorated.
The beaches on the island are ok but not that clean when compared to other beaches I have been to on my worldly travels. Phi Phi island's beaches were stunning 30 years ago and so amazingly clean. As tourism increases at a beach the quality goes down. The sewerage is the problem. Treatment plants get overwhelmed. That's why a pool is a necessity.
There are more places to choose from in the Ko Phi Phi Don area.
