The spacious large beautiful room with everything you need in one room a stunning shower area and spectacular views on the third floor directly to the pool. Clean with amenities and daily change of towels nothing to ask about it. The location of the hotel is not bad is at the end of the beach and it is true that you have to go over the sand to go to the hotel and at night it is not very bright. The beach if that can be called beach is not worth anything abandoned and dirty. Many insects throughout the hotel giant size butterflies and we even saw a monkey running around the pool area. Breakfast did not like the horrendous coffee and four buffet things and almost all dedicated to Thai tourism.

After reading all the negative reviews about this hotel my expectations were set pretty low before I arrived. We stayed in room 3008, a pool access room on the 3rd floor and it was great. The room was clean and spacious, with views to die for. The maid was in every day during the 3 nights we stayed here. The pool was glorious and was never particularly busy, there was always sunbeds available. There was a wee bit at the edge of the pool where the floor paint had worn away and looked a bit scruffy but it didn’t affect anything in any way. The restaurant area was large and clean. The breakfast was not the best, the coffee machine took forever and it wasn’t very warm when you eventually got it. However the omelettes were made to order and were nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn’t venture into any of the other floors so can’t comment on what they were like. There was a sign on the room doors advising to lock them due to monkeys visiting the hotel but we only saw one monkey while we were there. If I was staying on Phi Phi again I would definitely return to this hotel. The views and location are amazing.

We stayed for three nights. The young women who run the place are very welcoming and earnest, but the room was pretty basic and in need of both updating and maintenance, and perhaps some thought, as well. Fixtures functional but barely. Kitchen sink faucet was about to fall off. No way to make ice and they don't have any available, so we had to go to the Sunya minimart for ice - water as well. Beds were quite hard in our 'deluxe' room. No English channels on their limited TV fare. Great shower, though! Breakfast was marginal, and really geared toward their Indian and Malaysian clientele, not for westerners. We liked the lpcation at the end of town - far enough away to be quiet but close enough for a 10 minute walk to the center of everything.

Where do I begin to summarize our worst stay? As much as the island is magnificent, this hotel is disastrous. We NEVER stayed there except between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. it was so shabby. To talk about the negative points, let's remain objective: it is located at the opposite end of ALL the activity on the island. The western side is uninhabited and you will have to walk 15 minutes to reach an activity. You will surely say to yourself that you would be calm and in complete tranquility? On the contrary, ALL tourist boats stop at the hotel's tiny beach and dine at the hotel's restaurant. Another negative side, because of the cliff, there is no more sunlight after 3 p.m. Well otherwise, let's get to the heart of the matter with a more subjective point of view. My wife and I decided to treat ourselves by taking a “luxurious” suite and “private” pool. I'll give it to you, it was quite the opposite. For the swimming pool, obviously, the room on the ground floor looked straight towards the influx of tourists and as luck would have it the two rooms to our left and right knew each other so they passed quietly onto our terrace. As for luxury then, everything was DISGUSTING, rot on the walls, stained with I don't know what, musty smell, mushrooms in the shower, windows with marks, unwashed floors, crumbs on the previous people's table and so on. pass. I'm not usually one to complain, but this was too much. Neither once nor twice was I asked for explanations at reception. The women at the counter looked at me stupidly, their neurons unable to connect. For them, no problem but looking at them, we had already made this type of reproach to them. No commercial gesture, impossible to change rooms, to have compensation (even a very small one) or to cancel while having the nerve to say "you should be happy, you paid less for the room than what people usually pay.” In short, a disaster. To end the stay, the man carrying the suitcases suddenly breaks my wife's, without even any apology from him. To avoid

Warning! Don't book this hotel if you want to take a shower! There is no hot water here for the fourth day in a row and despite daily inquiries, my complaints have not led to any hot water. By the way, on the first day I had to ask them to change both the shower head in the hand shower as well as the overhead shower. The first night when we got home from town at 9pm, the isle was pitch dark in the long hallway to the rooms and I stumbled and stumbled upon a step that was impossible to see. I had to ride down the elevator again to ask them to turn on the light in the hallway every night as long as I stay here. The breakfast is decidedly boring and they only have two kinds of toast bread, the light one as well as with whole grains and no other breakfast bread. My Thai wife and kids were also not happy with the Thai breakfast buffet. Further I have just been called at 11:00 morning by the front desk who informed me that check out time is at 11:00 despite my claim that I had booked and paid for one more day! I had to sneak down to the reception to show them my receipt and I even had to ask for an apology as well as an explanation of my demand as to why she called and panicked everything in my two hotel rooms and gave us half an hour to pack in, then the explanation was just that she had called the wrong room! I was furious and most of all I wanted to leave right away, but I've booked and paid for both boat tickets to Krabi and a hotel over there, so we'll cool down today and hope none of us get worked up again! The hotel is also well worn down and you should not be walking impaired as there are no transport options on the island, and it is located furthest from the city approx. 1.5 km.

We arrived at the hotel and checked out after approx. 30 minutes, the hotel in no way lived up to our expectations.
We checked out and didn't want to charge full price for 4 nights that we didn't use. The staff case we have to create a case via Booking.com regarding return of the payment. Now ignore hotel booking.com.
We would not recommend the hotel, but certainly not the service either, as it is below all criticism that we have paid for 2 hotel rooms for 4 days, both used a maximum of 30 times.

This was simple the worst hotel during our 5 week trip to Thailand. Without a daubt!
Despite never opening windows we got over 20 mosquitos in the room. Seemed to be coming from air intake. The jungle is right behind the hotel so that’s probably why. Caterpillar ran across the floor. How in earth did he get in?
Room had black mould and in the shower that faucet had serious corrission.
Dirty room, and poor cleaning. The pool just outside room was in poor condition.
Staff had no interest in customers. Felt more that we were disturbing them in their permanent ”siesta”.
It was stated in the ad that this hotel was built in 2015. There is absolutely no way that can be true. The fridge had a sticker saying 2011. And this was the ”nicest” of appliances. More likely built just after tsunami in 2004, with no or few updates.
And one last thing, don’t stay on the patio and eat something if you stay groud floor beach front, you will have angry big monkeys there in seconds. And don’t get me started about the breakfast….
Would absolutely not recommend!!!!

We were staying here 2020, 2021, 2022. During pandemic room costs 1000 - 1200THB, now 2000THB with Breakfast. But it still has great value for money. Huge rooms with amazing views, close to everything but far enough from the bars.
No complaints. Just perfect place for staying on PhiPhi.
As for the soundproof: you can hear your neighbors from the next room but with the closed windows you don’t hear night music from the reviving bars.

Hotel looks tired and needs alot of money spending on it. There's a bad smell in all communal areas and items of used furniture such as mattresses propped up in hallways. The beach directly outside the hotel isn't the best, deckchairs are old and plastic is brittle many are broken. We didn't use the swimming pool after looking at the state of it, there's no obvious area to relax by the pool either. The internal lift had water leaking into it.
Our room the shower was dirty and had limescale all over, we struggled to get any hot water, only had two towels provided, the sofa had a huge tear in the side, the air con unit didn't particularly work which I'm almost glad about as you could see the dirt and grime all over it. The balcony was communal and unusable due to the ammount of monkey which isn't the hotels fault to be fair. All the furniture and decor was old and showed visible signs of wear and tear throughout.
The breakfast was just terrible the area is so dated there is a half filled open fish tank within the dining room which smells awful. The food selection was incredibly poor, instant coffee from a sachet was a highlight.
Staff were not friendly or inviting either no one spoke when walking past.
The worst hotel stay I've ever experienced. We booked for 4 nights and cut our losses leaving after 2. Dreadful place nothing like the photos.

Strongly advise not to pre-book in advance. Actual pictures/views are different from the advertising pictures on the hotel website as well as booking agents such as booking.com, agoda.com One Star for viewing, location and services. Room is very old, rundown and incredibly very expensive. We got a room that could see only ugly corrugated rooftop. Mosquito and bug were in the room. Ice was sticking in freezer like never been removed. We asked for a change but was denied. For International travellers please consider not to advance purchase or payment otherwise you will be disappointed like us. An expensive lesson, see attached pictures.

You can either walk (45 minutes) or get a long tail taxi boat. We walked and it was a beautiful walk - you walk all the way to the south end of Tonsai beach and then continue along a coastal path through parts of forest and beach. It is not a strenuous walk but does require walking up some rocks.
There are more places to choose from in the Ko Phi Phi Don area.
