We stayed at the famous house as a family of four for two weeks. The location is very good (if you have a motorbike), on the more quiet strip of asphalt near Chalok on Koh Tao. My partner and I stayed at Famous House over the NY period. Booking the room required direct email contact with the guesthouse as it was not linked to online booking sites. However this was not a problem at all as O (the contact person) was extremely helpful, quick to reply and spoke very good English. We stayed in the red...

Chalok Baan where the Famous House is located is a VERY small village. This accommodation, is a converted house, on the main road, so there is constant traffic noise.The rooms are fine, large, clean, and you can have air conditioned if you pay extra. Maybe if you occupy the full house with a group it would seem better, but it...

We - my two teenage children and I - stayed here for almost three weeks over December and January whilst on a scuba diving holiday at nearby Buddha View Dive Resort.
