We booked the Paradise zone which is located up a very steep hill. There are transfers up and down this hill all day which believe me is very welcome until this stops at 10pm when you have to walk. I am a gym goer but in the Thai heat, have to admit was dripping wet by the time I got...

I do not know why everybody is complaining about this resort. I find it hard to believe that it has gone so downhill in the past year. We had an amazing stay. We stayed in Bungalow 420 and we loved the walk up through the jungle and our stay in a very simple accommodations. We feel like anything fancier would...

Hotel has two zones. Paradaise zone and the beach zone. The paradise zone is on top of a hill (with a nice view). Across the street from beach zone. Beware of the steep hill to get to paradise zone. During the day you are most likely to get a ride in the hotel pick up truck up the hill. If...

Ko Tao Resort has 2 zones: beachzone and paradisezone. On a second day of our stay at the beachzone we discovered that both my friend and I were missing money: athough wallets were never left in the room for safety reasons, some emergency cash tucked away in suitcases was clearly stolen. When I reported this at the reception, receptionist, without...

This may just be the most comprehensive review this resort has ever had, for the simple reason that we were travelling in a group of 12 and have booked all bungalows they have plus one higher category room. This was my third stay at Ko Tao resort, and I have previously rated it quite well. However this resort has so...

Although the rooms were a little tired, especially the bathrooms which left a lot to be desired, the hotel is in a good beachfront location. Pool area is lovely and restaurant food was fine You can use the facilities at the sister "paradise" resort at the top of the hill. Complimentary transport is provided and I recommend the restaurant terrace...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Upon arrival we were blown away with the location. It was on a quiet stretch of beach with crystal blue waters and white sand. We had spent a long time when booking trying to decifer the accommodation types but we decided to opt for a beach zone room. We were glad we...

Payed 1700 THB a night for an a/c bungalow - upon arrival the reception staff informed us we would need to move to a deluxe room half way through our stay. Ok not a problem. After being in our bungalow for half an hour LARGE RED ANTS started appearing everywhere on the floor and even in our bed. We were...
