Just went there for 3 nights family trip. Read lots of reviews before making decisions but turn out very disappointed. We booked 6 rooms. They are not in a good condition. No places for hanging cloth. Room 16 is terribly nightmare. Not clean. Very small for 3 beds in that room. No places for any stuff or even a chair...

Lovely location on the Wang riverbank with a large terrace running down to the river. Plenty of seating here too. The old rambling wooden house must have been lovely in its time and still has a deal of charm. Unfortunately, this has not been improved by excessive use of grey, grey concrete and screeding both outside and in the rooms...

This small guesthouse offers new dimension of slow life stay in Lampang city just off the corner from start point of Kad Kong Ta ,weekend night walking street; it's unbelievably quiet , located on the wang river bank, well decorated with old-Dayed furniture , looks lovely , not too redundant. The hotel room I stayed was also of standard service...

I recommend for this guesthouse. I stayed here for 3 nights. I think it's reasonable price for me because of cleanliness, kind staffs, near the fresh market and very near the Saturday night market. The guest house made me feel like staying home!

This guesthouse is in a lovely old building next to the river. I stayed in a standard river view room and it was spacious and spotless. The construction was only noisy until about 5. At night the only noise is from the frogs and crickets. The staff doesn't speak much English, but they were pleasant and welcoming.

I booked 3 nights. Unfortunately, this guesthouse was UNDER construction. In spite of the construction without notice, the owner and staffs did NOT say sorry. If you open your room's window, you can see construction workers, and hear electronic saw and drill sounds!

My room in R-Lampang was the simplest fan room. The room is clean and cute but the shared bathroom did not offer hot water for shower. Open the window, you can see the Wang river (though not very charming).

Apart from the beautiful looking vintage things, there is nothing positive about this place. The most important negative point: The stuff is incredibly unfriendly. An example: Check-out time is 12:00. At 11:30 there were three members of the stuff in front of our door shouting and knocking at our door. When we opened it, they treated us like small children...

Stayed at R-Lampang for four nights in June 2014 for 750baht per night. Room was basic but clean with good aircon and hot water for shower. Free wifi was good also. What made it special was the information and advice about Lampang given by the manager/owner. Very helpful and friendly. I read other comments about noise but I had no...
