It is marketed as a "luxury" hotel but that was 20 year ago. They still charge premium prices for a 250 bath room. The pool was drained a long time ago but this is never mentioned. The rooms looks to be "renovated" with splashed paint here and there and silicone. If they lowered the price to the 200-300tbh range it...

Very ugly outside and inside! Dirty blanket on the beds terrible toilet. Door that don't close and any upgrade of room is just a waste of money the structure are very badly damaged and you risk an electric shock from naked cable on the rooms.

This hotel boasts being the first 'luxury' hotel in town; this could only be true if it was built 40 years ago and not a single maintenance job had been done since. Arriving at 4am without a booking we were just grateful to get a bed, which I admit was at least clean and comfortable. Beyond that though, the place...

horrible rooms (tried 4) cheeky staff (asked me for 100 baht for taking a small case upstairs after I gave him 20). Mosquitoes in the room - dirty place all round. I paid through Agoda and lost 850 baht rather than stay there - a dump.

I booked this on Agoda looking at glossy photos. I was highly dissapointed on the pathetic condition of grand old hotel. Rooms/bath were in pathetic condition and very basic. I was put off by near break down condition of the place. Staff are very helpful and that was only good part of the deal. This hotel is cheaply priced but...

I don’t know where to start! Stayed for 1 night (1 too many!) in August and chose the hotel from the information provided on the hotels’ website which coins phrases such as ‘‘The 1st luxury hotel in Lampang…’’ ‘‘Feels like staying in your own home’’ and ‘‘The legend lives on’’. Certainly the nightmare lives on. When you arrive you find...

This is an old hotel, and it is true that you can see that upon arrival. However, there are talks about renovating the place (I talked to the staff) but they cannot do it all in one go (which is understandable because of the budget and the amount of things that has to be done). And the staff makes up...

I stayed at the hotel for one night to join Songkran Festival. The hotel is renovating as I could see. The room had removed the carpet out and changed to lovely clean white tile. Breakfast was good and also the atmosphear in the restaurant. We bought a package which include dinner at the restaurant by the river and ride the...

We stayed here one night with 4 rooms, the beds are good but the rooms surely have to be improved, using the bathrooms needs a good mental condition. Anyway the service made it all, the staff very friendly and the restaurant, eventhough not very promising from the looks, served very good Thai food with an attentive waiter, the breakfast was...

i have stayed in hundreds upon hundreds of hotels in my life. this had to be the worst of all. no joke. dirty dirty rooms. ancient toilets and bathroom fixtures. broken things. ripped and worn furniture (see pictures attached). it is also downright dangerous to stay at this hotel- the key to one room will open all the rooms on...
